◆ SNAIL [GT1 Championship] Series

Hello all!

I am very interested in joining a racing league in SNAIL because it is known for the fair, clean, and the fast drivers! This is the only "open" league that I found but since I haven't played in about 4 months, I looked at the PP categories and was looking to see if there is anything open in the 400-450PP range. If not, this GT modified series is also good. I am here because Whitey093 sent me. Lastly, it is my understanding that Sundays are the racing days?

Thank you!
That will be the Spec series. This league runs every Wednesday.

Like @Jakedog23 said, this series races on Wednesday nights. The Sunday league is the Spec racing and you can find that thread here. Read the first post, then post that you want to join, if you still do. Thanks.

Welcome @ketiux to the GT1 championship.

We are the TUNING SERIES wing of SNAIL! Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL [GT1 Championship] series:
Step 1:Learn and follow The Good Racecraft Guide and SNAIL OLR.
Step 2: Send a Friend Request to @Jakedog23 on PSN and wait for an invite to the club.
Step 3: Purchase the car you will be racing for the current season we are in.(#3)
Step 3: Choose your number, colours and match the specs for the division you are in.(#2)
Step 4: tune your car!

Remember this is a TUNING series and have fun!

Attention:

Autodromo Nazionale Monza (80s) - The white line on the inside of the front straight can be ignored.

No other white line can be completely crossed by more then 2 tires. If there is a rumble strip, it will be the limit then as long as it last, but once it is over the white line rule is BACK IN FORCE!

Good luck to many of you based on the replays from last night practice races. GT1 has a penalty system for this very issue.

I will morning be attending tonight as I have been busy all day with school, homework, and other things. Sorry guys, see you next week.

Go Volkswagen!!!!!

I found the exit of Ascari catching me several times with the rumble strip ending and then being slightly out of bounds. That's certain one spot to be careful with.

Poor excuse Jake. School won't do you any good if you can't be fast in GT6. :)

I so disagree, going to the right of that white line is slow, unless your drafting someone who went there! and now your both slow!
the out side/black tire marks have always been the fastest!
tight off the last turn and hug the white line but let it drift back up to the left, traction is where the rubber is already laid down.

I'll be in tonight but not racing as I don't have the hand for a proper pit stop.
I would like to attempt with my good hand to STREAM it!

Oh I wish that was the truth:D

Something locked up.
Manual restart of PS3.
Be there as soon as possible

Good racing tonight in the GT1 championship! survived the crazy start with starting on mediums and ran a pretty solid stint but wasn't enough to catch @CoachMK21 in the end. close but not close enough :) congrats on your win Coach!

Unfortunately I will have to take a step out of the Audi for the remainder of the season. I got a call from my job earlier this week and they asked if I want to do more hours and more pay. I had to accept it as I need money to build my wissota street stock for the upcoming dirt track racing season this summer.

It was a fun 2 races. Learned a lot through strategy and just a lot of fun overall. Not sure if I'll be back but if I have a Wednesday night off I'll make sure to stop by the thread and see what's going on.

Thanks for all the stewards and the drivers. it's always fun racing with the gt1 group of racers.

Thank you

Phish Man :sly:

Thanks @Ph1sher and thanks for live streaming. I just watched the first few minutes of the race and holy cow, turn 1 was crazy on lap 2. Three wide, you in the middle, @Whitey093 to your left and @Xradkins to your right. That's some serious car control by all three!

Too bad you can't continue, but I know how expensive real racing is and you can't pass up the opportunity to earn more to race.

Thanks to the new drivers for entering the series and maintaining interest. As soon as I look at the replay, I'll get the driver list updated. I've been pretty quiet online as my mic works then doesn't work, so I tend to keep it switched off. Always entertaining banter though.

I don't know if @Garthaniel86 has officially picked a car yet as instructed with in the welcome post.

It was an exciting race for sure yesterday, congratulations to @CoachMK21!!! My only complaint yesterday was the lack of patience and smart race craft in the opening laps. Since i was the one with the impatient mishap last week i suppose it was fitting to be the recipient this time but we can all do better.

Motegi has a buttload of passing opportunites so i expect this race will be the best yet. Cant wait to see if coach continues his winning ways or if we have a 4th winner in 4 races. Ill probably be on tonight for some practice. The spec combos havent interested me in weeks, im focused on gt1 and on learning how to turn in pcars without spinning off into the wall.

@Garthaniel86 has officially picked a car yet as instructed with in the welcome post.
Yea, i picked the Mazda i just totally forgot to buy Sports medium tires so i had to switch to Hards which was impossible for me to control, idk i was disappointed wit the way i drove last night, i had lap times in the 1:47 to 1:48 Tuesday night smh..i forget who it was but they hooked me up with a tune for it.

I'm assuming you were placed in Pro-am. @Jakedog23 did you tell him that or something? I got no notification about it.
