What kind of racing would we have if it wasn't for a bit of bumping and shoving?

I tend to agree, rubbing's racing and when not close is boring.:sly:
I'm sure todays race is going to be a cracker, with the top ten made of 7 Commodores and only 3 Falcons.

No doubt the Vodafone boys wont have any trouble with there new found Alie Winterbottom flying wingman, I'm sure he'll do fine job of clearing the track of Holden's allowing the 888 cars to sail through. I wonder if Ford pays (him Winterbottom) for how many he pushes off or, if theres a bonus cheque at the end of the day from Ford, if team Vodafone and FORD get there milestone four in a row, before there best driver leaves the brand?
..
Good luck to all. Go Holden!

Sure, that release was marginal, but Lowndes was inside the cones and didn't hit the FPR(?) car... not deserving of a penalty imo.

But the only reason there was no contact was because Richards had to suddenly jerk his wheel to avoid any contact. Not the worst exit ever, but I guess the stewards know the rules best.

I forgot that with you, Holden drivers can do no wrong.

It's a shame that they so frequenty do.

Luckily I haven't forgot that every post you ever make reads the same:

"I hate Holdens so much I'll make up any old BS to put them down and make them appear evil".

Seriously, the low value of your posts is appreciated by nobody.

Now, haven't you got something more constructive to do with your time then try and provoke me?

I do hope 888 does poorly, we need to make some huge leaps in the points to catch up, and I don't want cheats winning again.:P
Paulie, he has a point. ;) I'm pretty sure Toll whacked 888 to win the championship, not the other way around ;)

How lucky was Caruso? Must've been within a finger of nailing his rear wing on the wall! Once he stopped I was thinking "oh god, hope we don't get another Mark Porter...", glad nobody hit him.

And I'm pretty sure that 888 whacked their biggest threat to the race on the opening lap last year, not us. We're not the ones willing to risk dangerous pit exits in a 161 lap race here. Seriously, cut it out.

The rain has been pretty light, it might pass without having much impact.👍

Pretty tame race so far, but I haven't been watching for the past twenty minutes.

Michael Caruso should buy a lottery ticket.

Team Vodafone are still in with a chance of winning by potentially getting up a pit stop on the rest of the field.:nervous:

It has to be said: I bet you warm to them considerably once they defect to the reds next season. Especially if they keep winning.

Well there #1 driver is ex Holden, or did you forget that???
I remember when Lowndes made his return for Gibson in that green-eyed monster after his unsuccessful bout in Formula 3, and all the Holden fans called him a traitor and gave him hell in Adelaide. But now that Triple Eight are crossing over, everything is suddenly forgiven, as if the presence of a championship winning team and double-champion Whincup is some kind of peace offering.

Double standards, anyone?

Double standards? Lowndes and Whincup start at Holden and cross to Ford, they're called traitors, they come back to Holden, where they started, now the wrongs are righted. Not that I care either way that they changed to Ford in the first place, and I certainly won't like Lowndes when he comes back to Holden, only maybe Whincup. For the record, Ford fans are already giving them hell for switching back so it's the same for either side. Really, why are you still talking, trying to put down Holden fans, when you have no legs to stand on?
