However ragged Nico looks, remember, Lewis is on the better tires. Nico is running really close to the edge to keep that gap down. If he gets the gap just right, he will win the battle of the pits, and the race, likely.

He wants a two second gap. Lewis wants a six second gap. Stalemate for now. Great stuff, tactically. Won't translate to on-track fireworks for another ten laps, though.

Also, go Button... hang on to that Merc!

No but people that enjoy methodical games of strategy will get a kick out of this (me for example).

Here we go... pit! Pit! Pit! Slow stop for Lewis...

Apparently, they adjusted his wing... while meanwhile, Rosberg is complaining about graining.

Three turns to try to combat the oversteer that he was getting? Lewis wasn't happy about what they were telling him.

Because he wanted them to do the normal two...there is tons of miscommunication and issues going on today on Lewis's end that shouldn't be and haven't happened prior.

Exactly...what the hell are they doing.

Apparently, they had issues on the wing adjustment... (yes, give me much more front wing when I'm having oversteer... :D ) still...

Wooo... Rosberg has a MUCH faster stop.

Gap is in Rosberg's favor. Now let's see if he can clear the backmarkers and beat Lewis this time. :D

Whoever wins this, I will be happy. But the guy who doesn't won't be.

Tell me more...

I love this

Lewis: "So how much time did we lose on the pitstop"

REng: "Now now Lewis don't worry about that, just drive old pal"

I've noticed that... like just now he was asking about why they called him in if his times were fine. Twice that Lewis has had a bodged pit stop...

Lewis is coming across today as a kid, not a man. Can't he discuss strategy later? Can't he say jokes and send jibes later?

Kids these days ...

Gary Hartstein just hit the nail on the head:

Lewis lost a whole second there, all through sector one, with the fight with Massa. And losing time in braking in turn 10. I think Nico is better on brakes

He's trying to win the race. A little complaining is understandable... he needs the car set up properly for the last stint... if it isn't, he loses, through no fault of his own. This is why he's getting pretty edgy.

And if you can make jokes when you're in danger of losing... well... what's wrong with that?

Also: GO NICO. TAP DAT ASS.

New wrinkle: Lewis has more fuel saved up... Hmmm...

Apparently, there is an issue with the radio, which is why they had trouble agreeing on how much wing to give Lewis for the last stint.

That is incredibly frustrating, obviously.

Granted, he could be dealing with it better. And should be. It's been obvious since about halfway through the race that Nico is faster in race conditions here. And that's made Lewis nervous.

Traffic might decide this fight. The two of them are close to lapping P11.

Nico needs this race. He needs this win. Lewis has been smashing him with mind games all season long, now it's Nico's turn.
