Villeneuve, working as TV commentator for Canal+ France, said that Perez should have his licence suspended for that. o_O I wouldn't even blame him for the crash...

Congrats to Ricciardo, awesome job! Red Bull should be stoked, 2 cars on the podium, breaking the Merc stranglehold on he season!

Vettel extremely lucky to avoid that wreck, that could have been even worse than it was.

That's Villeneuve for you.

I won't. I admit, it was on the heat of the moment but he just plowed straight on Perez, there's no way he didn't notice Perez was having issues or that his engineers didn't notify him, and ended up bining the great race of both 👎. Brilliant way to "fight" for a position....

Anyways, changing the subject, my heartfelt congratulations to Daniel Ricciardo! Great driving! I want to see that guy's smile!

My first instinct was "Massa, you idiot!", but after seeing the replay, Perez took a defensive line down the middle and braked way early. Not giving a clear indication of where you're going and braking way out of sync with everyone else... even if the other guy knows you have a problem, he can't predict something like that.

Racing incident... Massa was trying to overtake because he knew Perez had issues, Perez gave him no place to go and no time to react.

You should never listen to a retired driver's opinions on today's motorsports, work wonders with Lauda

Does not apply with some drivers, like Prost

"This is ridiculous.", said Ricciardo summing up his race. Well, I agree with that one!

And FI with no rear brakes.
They were clearly faster than Force India, but Force India were always more likely to try their hand at a daring strategy.

No, I predict that Horner will try to insinuate that Red Bull have closed the gap to Mercedes, irrespective of Mercedes' issues. They got lucky - a lap later passing Perez, and Rosberg would have won.

I agree, like I said, I responded with my gut and I already admitted it. Still, I think it was quite un-strategic from Massa. Even us TV-spectators were informed that Checo had issues with his brakes, and if Massa had duly noted such a thing he could've done better than being agressive at corner entry, which ended in both drivers losing a buttload of points.

Also, I'm liking the fact that Seb seems more mature towards his team mate now 👍. Nico is broken, what a shame, it could've been his race but brakes kicked in yo .

IRBR have to talk it up, that's the nature of the business side. No-one wants a lucky win, they want the sponsors to know zey worked for it.

Sorry, was listening to Jean Alesi zere.

Vettel lucky :grumpy:
I wish fernando would have been lucky as vettel at spa in 2012:grumpy:
Well yes but's let's think the are booth very lucky to come out on their legs.
Vettel obviously more lucky since he avoided 2 ground missiles.

What I've noticed this season really brings back form past glory years: wiggly tails, crazy overtakes (loved Alonso's one), epic lead changes.

This race will bring me back to watching F1. 👍

He once fixed-it for a girl to milk a cow blindfold, it was on the radio and everything!
