2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand PrixFormula 1

Do you think the top runners will have to pit again or they're good to the end? I didn't hear the commentators say anything yet.

Kimi's pass on Massa is how DRS should work. Give the guy in the back a shot going into the corner...not a flyby on the straight.

Fred is really not happy, no wonder he is going to Indy and talking to Porsche...whatever could that be about

Is there some sort of lit white LED beneath the Torro Rosso's nose shining on the road? Never seen that before.

"We, Toro Rosso would like to apologize that our driver Carlos Sainz drove into the side of the Williams, even though the Williams had turned in and claimed the corner. Our bad."

Yes. Yes it is.

I was gone for 10 mins, can soomeone explain the strategies of the front runners.

Lewis needs to make up a five second penalty. Merc switched him and Bottas because Bottas has rear tire issues and Lewis needs to stay close to Vettel to make either of his options work.

Vettel MUST pit again. Lewis may or may not pit. If Lewis doesn't, he has to finish over five seconds ahead of Vettel. Vettel is in a good position to win, but only if he can build a good buffer on Lewis.

Bottas is going to have issues winning. He can't stay with Vettel or Lewis. And like Vettel he has to pit again.

Kimi is in a good spot for a possible podium. Ric might be a long shot.

Kimi has taken the whiny suit over from Vettel. Man. Every message from him is a complaint.

Basically, Vettel has won. All we are waiting for is for the pits to cycle through. Unless Hamilton can pull a rabbit out of his hat and NOT lose any time to Vettel over the next nineteen laps.

Yup. Vettel is quicker and according to the radio Hami still has to stop.

Please let Grojean finish in the points... Haas should be fighting for points every week, roughly right around the cutoff. Shame to see one go down every week.

Okay calling it now, Alonso's days at McLaren are number. You can hear how unhappy he is over the radio.

Indeed. Wouldn't be surprised if this was the last race. Can't blame him though. He's driving a somewhat fast roadblock.

Edit Hamilton in the pit.

Maybe I have been a Ferrari fan just too long and seen them snatch defeat from the jaws of victory far too many times :sly:

As much as I'd like to see Vettel lose, it's pretty locked up I feel. So good on them, Mercedes completely screwed this one on set up it seems.

Oh those bellends didn't even put super soft's back on...

What's wrong with that? Are you talking about Lewis, cause all he had were used...so soft is the right call. And over a period of the duration remaining, it's the faster tire.

The fact that there had been zero improvement since Honda has come aboard I am hoping he cuts and runs from them.
