4/13/2011 - Lightweight K Cup

My Full House Cervo is just too fast, so I got the Autozam from the Mazda garage, put a box, full suss and 350pp's worth of engine mods (ECU, titanium exhaust, sports manifold & filter, I think)
Sports Hard tyres give it some nice oversteeriness and it's good to go. Made the lead on the last corner at Deep Forest. Looking forward to the other races.

Last night I just build a Suzuki Cervo SR because the AZ-1 whine noise its just plain annoying after 2-3 races (wich is a shame, for such a delicious car :( )

And its amazing too! At 400pp or less, just put Sport Mediums on the front and kept the Comfort Mediums on the rear and it slides in a very funny way...

Plus, the automatic-a-like gear changes are really quick. :)

I used the Madza AZ-1 because after you put a body kit on it, some nice wheels, and a colored spoiler it becomes a pretty sharp car. Plus it is extremely easy to drift around the track, and still come out first at the end of the race. This car is tons of fun for this event! I have mine shared if someone wants to try it without buying it, add me on PSN: - LceGT. Actually I have cars for most of the seasonal events shared.

I have been using the Daihatsu OFC-1 Concept, getting lap times under 56 secs on the Eiffel track making me about 1,000,000 every 30 mins :D

I've been doing something similar. I've used the Suzuki Cappuccino RM and am making about the same money as you. Lap times are 57-58 seconds. 👍

I'm doing 0:57 on lap 2-3 and 1:01 on lap 1 so doing 2:56ish...
Using Cappuccino RM Fully Tuned & Power Limited to meet 420PP with RS tyres.
As for tuning, set top speed to 180, drop ride height to minimum and stiffen the spring rate should do you for sub-1mins. I have had a bit more of a play than that but am not at PS3 to confirm exactly but they are the 3 main changes! 👍

Additionally, I have only had about 5 or 6 runs at this race so I have no doubt that better times are possible it is a matter of learning the track and finding the fastest line.

my 3 laps are always coming in at 3:03 I have played around with it but i have 5th gear topping out at about 120 since it wont go faster than that on the straight

One of the best credit per lap payout yet & loads of fun especially Eiger & Eifel Kart tracks. Thanks Kaz & PD. Even with all that's going on in Japan, you still give us something to smile at!!:)

Finally, a *real* alternative to grinding American Indy! I believe this is the first series of races (discounting bonus races which can only be run once) with a higher CR/min. payout. A few other seasonals came close, but this one beats them all definitively if you tune your car to the max.

Certainly beats the hell out of going around in circles.

Very cool Seasonal - did all in an i-MIEV, bought all tyres from CH to SS and tried for each race which were the ones I could still win with. The AI sucks at Rome (CM), I suck at Deep Forest (SS).

Got the Mazda now, a completely different beast. Interesting Torque/Power-Ratio, feels wrong to shift so far from the red line. Extremely fun to drift around Rome, though.

The nurnburgring GP race pays 159,000cr it's the most lucrative seasonal.

Sn1per666
GP/D pays ~1,400,000 credits/hour
Eifel (Kart) pays ~2,000,000 credits/hour
Indy in X1 pays ~ 1,700,000 credits/hour

:)

Interesting thanks, I enjoy driving the Capp RM more than I do the Lambo.

Im just using a Suzuki Capuccinno RM with RKM's setup and tune the car to 88HP, sticks to curves and its a nice way to grind creds. Also, from time to time check the UCD between races, some really good cars are up for sale.

The fastest I've managed is a 2'49'8 in the Cervo. Fastest lap was a 0'55'1. It seems to be the best car for me. OFC-1 Concept is close. The Cappuccino RM lacks acceleration and the Wagon R RR I tried was terrible.

The OFC-1 has a 7 speed transmision, do any other Kei cars have at least 6 gears, I only seem to have 5 speeds in all my other Kei cars.

I guess I'm the only one that wants the race to be 5 laps? I've been driving the autozam for a bit now and it's a great car except the annoying engine. The cappuccino still seems to be my favorite. I just have to put comfort hards in the rear to get it to slide around more.

I really wonder how you guys seem to have so much fun with this. I found those "races" rather boring... not only slooow but also way too boring and easy with a almost stock OFC-1 with only ecu and comfort softs. The only good idea in it was rome backwards but with these cars its no challenge.

Some people in this thread said it's much more fun to grind the Eifel race for money than grinding on Indy, so maybe that's why.

I'd love it to be 5 laps, if it was 160 k as a result. Likewise I'd actually prefer 10 laps if it was my choice, but again, I'd like the price it increase to 330k as a result. High payout per lap ftw basically.

I really wonder why people bother with pointless posts such as this.

Well I for one like to try and beat my lap times with the fastest Kei car I can enter into the event. Testing different cars and setups to see just how fast I can go with 420PP. I find that alot more enjoyable and addicting than racing the AI in a similar spec car. The prize money is just a nice bonus.

I tried the autozam, fun little car. I riced it out big time, carbon fiber hood, big spoiler, front lip, and a gunmetal metallic paint job. I had a blast running it fairly stock and wouldn't pass the ai till the final lap, sometimes the final turn.
