This is an OK TT... Only doing this one for fun, definitely not going to deep into it, like the Brands TT... A couple of days ago I made a 1.09.586 in my RUF RGT `00...This stands as my personal record, not going to try and improve with this car...A little later I tried the RUF Yellowbird and made a 1.12.5xx or something like that...Now that was FUN...Think I`ll try some other cars also...

Bug or hack?
Ford nascar :D hahaha "european non-racing car 500pp" :D Is he the most stupid hack ever  Heheh, I have heard that in some past event someone managed to enter in some car that was no were near the regularions, and he did it purely by accident...

PD would you please get your frieking **** together already

Is the driver from Brazil?

Lol :D

Must be 'Merican then.

As @ODB says, I remember something similar happening on a previous TT. Lots of knashing teeth, before the guys comes in, apoligises and says 'I have no idea what happened'.

My guess is a not uncommon PD cock-up

k, I didn't have the time during the weekend (mountain trip :D) but I promised that I'd do a lap in an S4, to see how a 4WD would perform - I will try to do my best tomorrow then and let you know how it worked out :D

Your tune for the Evoque pls?

Sure, I'll post it up when I get a chance - maybe this evening UK time.

I took a it out for a few more laps and surprised myself with 1:10.888 with room for improvement, especially around the big sweeper before the uphill return.

Bug or hack?

I remember seeing my first hack on this game. It was this exact track, the guy used a Bluebird. Without questioning I bought the car, entered the race, and found myself with a car that was so slow that the crowd was running faster than I was. So I looked at his replay and it was astonishing. Blew me away how awesomely fast the car was. Made me want to hack...for about .0000000000001 second .

Quite good fun this tt. Brings me back to a couple of fun WRS events on gt5 - think one was in the rx8 and the other in 100% wet!

First run was in the Ferrari gto - managed a 1'08.3 (can post tune if anyone is interested in this car)

Then tried the elise, down to a 1'07.2 with the posted tune from Rajman

Hopefully can sneak into the 1'06s will try adding the rigidity improvement for my next run.

Excellent tune r1, thank you. Managed to get down to 1:07.506 and can see a 1:06 on my future.

More importantly its made my 111r a much more enjoyable drive. It was my favourite car in GT5 but I've never been able to get it right in GT6.

@2cam16 - here is my Evoque tune (@redsuns23 @breyzipp might be interested in having a look?)

5 1.281
6 1.030 (not used on Eiger short)
Final 3.200

Not sure how I would have set up the gears, possibly the final all the way to right, auto slider to left and then set to 155mph, adjust the gears then final to 3.2. If that doesn't work maybe try setting to 155mph on the auto slider first. I doubt they are optimum anyway, I set them fairly wide to accommodate the mid range torque/power, and didn't bother adjusting for this TT.

Other parts: front aero B, after market wheels (but you can only get standard size anyway).

Notes: This a car I've been having fun with for long time and I'm sure there is plenty of room to improve the tune for someone better at it than me. It is quite forgiving though and you can be aggressive with it.

I set it up with the mid range turbo for this track as you never reach v-max. It works well, but I was short-shifting at around 6000-6200 as the power and torque curves really drop off. If you drive auto, may look at different power parts to give you a better high rpm curve.

My best time 1:10.888 was with rally-style drifting of turns 1, 2, 3 - this gave me a big saving over previous my time.

Please let me know how you get on with it, or if you have any problems with the setup .

someone asked me to do it in an Audi S4 - I did an 1:12.734 with my settings. Not the best car for this challenge as its VERY heavy and you have to cope with that with LSD and suspension settings, but still - gold is doable with the S4.

I'm curious how the Ford RS200 would do.

Well, first time I've golded one on the first try in a while. Muira of course, but it's one of my favorites anyway.

Can you be specific about the spoiler you added and the downforce?

Also, what exact trans settings did you use?

Yes, sadly it is from the USA in PD World.

I got 1:12.5xx in an '03 RS6 Avant.

ah, crap. NO RS200 FOR YOU. (although I'm so much curious I think I'll try it anyway in normal TT mode)

The Evora is a good choice not only because it's MR but also a wider one than the Elise for example, more stable on the turns.

well, the only thing I'd do is maybe do even less toe on the front (-0.2?) and add some more braking force in the LSD setting. I'm actually surprised that you are able to run it rally-style with those settings :P

Yes, I've no doubt it could benefit from some tweaks - it is a generic tune really I've been using for A-Spec, TTs and free runs on the Nordschleife (it has my best 500pp/SH time). I offer no warranty and make no claims about it's fitness for purpose .

It does light up the rears in slow turns when provoked, but the rally style corners came about by accident really! I'd overcooked into Turn 1, threw it sideways under brakes to scrub more speed then applied power when pointing at the exit :dopey:. I saw that I was ahead of the yellow triangle so tried it in T2 (small tap of handbrake); I gained more time so did the same in T3.

I'm not sure I could pull it off again, and you may well get better times with a good slow-in, fast-out technique. Nevertheless, I was quite happy with the time 👍.
