Failed today's challenge.
Only got time down to 59.5
Even tried spec c 04, a car I used to own in real life but ended up going back to NBR
Ranked in top 1000 which is a bonus.
Tomorrow is another day!!!
Keep going, you will get there eventually. I improved to 59.003, I don't know why but I find myself up as much as .200-.600 and by the end of the lap I get passed barely by my ghost. I know I have to be doing something wrong. :dunce:

I have that problem too 👍.
For me it's a change in the line where I gain the time I am still adjusting to the braking point and line leading to the back hairpin when I get the Dunlop bridge turn right I'm going 20-30 km/h.
 
For those who have/had hard times with the S206 I highly recommend to switch to the WRX. Gained 0.600 with the same setup.

(0:58.270 for now.)

I can see the places where the other ghosts gain time on me. Its just a matter of me getting all the skills right and at the same time.
Will have to load the ghost cars instead of just lines to see what shape the cars are at the turns to find out if that is why I am slower.
Only talking 1.5secs over the course but that is a long time in motorsports.

You can only load one ghost, yours or one you download from the leaders.
Chances are unless it's a hairpin you're not loading the time at that turn but the one prior. Setup for turn in is more important than just about anything else at Tsukuba

Finally got my younger days favorite 4WD to 'passed' this exam.(under 1 minutes) This car really understeer + turbo lag. :lol:

It may all be a figment of my imagination but if I where you I would try a new set of rims. The car feels lighter to steer. Removing the wing all together may help with understeer also.

I’m still trying to figuring out what the best power setup is together with short shifting. As earlier said. I sounds like the top guys use the racing exhaust. Any suggestions are welcome.

Is it @hall90 new settings or have I finally learned how to drive!!!
After 2 days of being stuck at 59.5 I've gone 59.4 to 59.22 in 10laps.
A combination of both but whatever I am happy to be moving again in the right direction.

I tried it for a while but couldn't get the hang of it.
Perseverance for another day.
But my improvement in gaining time is due to coming off brake sooner and hard on acceleration and getting line correct.
Basics really but amazing how much speed you maintain.
Also realising which may be obvious to some that cars do not like brake and steering at the same time.
Getting those things working in correct order and a good handling car @hall90 has helped a lot.
