I've used this my F40 alot (mines done over 1,500 miles) in the career mode and it was never this hard to control. using it in thie seaonal is near inpossable to get a lap in with out the back end snapping out. PD really had played about with the way this car handles and have wrecked a good car.
The final is set on the first step and stays the same at 3.620, to avoid the glitch. Oh, wait,I made a typo on the 1st step
, final should be 3.620. I have fixed the post. Sorry for the mistake, it should work nicely now on 1.17
Just for something to watch and enjoy, this is what happens when you drive an F40 in the rain (starts at 15:50) :

I too ran a low 1:30 on my first lap, only changing the camber to 0, adding 100 lbs of ballast @ -50, and the high-rpm turbo. TC was on 1. I tried two more laps with the car but they were red. The next day I input the Exeter tune, which is vastly better than stock, but only managed a low 1:29. No freaking idea how these guys are getting 1:24. I must be driving a different car entirely.
This is something I've been meaning to ask. IRL, changing to a larger, and heavier wheel can have dramatic consequences, especially if it's a really light car (Like a lotus). The *feel* of the car can be very different as well, usually because of the smaller, harder sidewalls. Does changing wheels in GT change any of the physics of the car at all, or is it merely cosmetic?
I've thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the tune, and that's only because the kitchen sink is bolted down to the counter and I like my TV. Impossible to drive. Gave up with a 1:31.448 on the "non-cheat code" DS3. I think we may have a new "worse to drive than the cart races" contender with this POS.
Hi Lurker, this subject has been raised quite a few times. One of my buds in the GEEZER Club (ScClockDr) did some time consuming (he like a number of us in the GEEZER Club is retired,, so time is a relative thing) testing using the Elise and found NO difference. Please see pages 52 and 53, messages #1561 / #1562 and #1570 where he discuss's wheel sizes: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gtp-geezer-club.310915/page-52

As a DS3 user I'll definitely have to try this tomorrow! Up till now I succeeded in putting down a 1:27.114 and notice I don't have that much difficulty to come near, which means there is room for improvement! Thanks!I'm at 26.640, P152, which by all means isn't top tier, but maybe this will help some DS3 users.

I'm running 6/1 brakes, but of course, that's preference.

Not playing much ATM as my gf's living with me but done a 25.3 so far. Hoping to do 24's soon.
Possible cheater the speedo reads 480kph where as everyone else's reads 320kph & there seems to be slightly less wheel spin noise ???Anyone know who Abigail941 from the USA is? Haven't seen the lap yet myself but to be just under 4 tenths quicker than RB26 it must be incredible. I would love to know his/her setup.![]()
