TL;DR - Guy banned by facebook thinks facebook is bad because he will believe anything bad about them in order to validate his internal notion that "they're bad" and "he's a victim."
Lord have mercy, did I say I was a victim? Did you hear me say they're bad? That comment was more ignorant than 75% of what I find in YouTube... :ouch: I'm serious. Why even bother posting now? I'm just saying Facebook isn't that safe of a site, yet NO OTHER SITE IS SAFE, too. Even :gtplanet: might not be he safe haven we all are waiting for. It's just the amount of people who use FB and the amount of info that some idiot can post like their credit cards and phone number and it catches a hacker's eye and WHAM! Guy is broke, no money, and spammed every time.

*Quotes from the future*

November 5/2011
Guy A: Yo guy B, FB is down
Guy B: You still have messenger?
Guy A: I think
Guy B: Nice, did you saw the hot chick in the....

No site is safe, but the panic will be reduced to -> swap to messenger.
And that will be it, however this is the sort of response that makes the whole thing interesting.

My IP address is 192.168.0.7. So what?

Seriously. When you contact any other host on the internet you have to provide your own IP address, so the remote host knows where to send a response. The whole idea of harvesting and selling IP addresses strikes me as ludicrous.

Lol. I love the confusion that surrounds IP an Mac addresses. 👍

Lord have mercy, did I say I was a victim?

Yes:
I don't use Facebook because they deleted my account for no apparent reason
=====
Did you hear me say they're bad?

Yes, again (read, not heard):
Facebook is taking away our rights.

They actually put more malicious adverts on the site you visit so you can install keyloggers or malware etc. on your computer.

Please.

If I were you I'd stop, too.

So now you're backpedalling into "facebook is no different than any other site on the internet"? In other words, you're saying nothing.

it's just the amount of people who use FB and the amount of info that some idiot can post like their credit cards and phone number and it catches a hacker's eye and WHAM! Guy is broke, no money, and spammed every time.

So now you're saying that if you post your credit card for everyone to see, there's a chance someone will take advantage of it? Nice work, detective. :indiff:

Now, can you explain why facebook deserves to be attacked? Why don't you tell us what your Anon "friends" say? What was the real reason you got banned from facebook?

I didn't do anything on Facebook. All I did was just log in, reply to someone's post, then search, log off. I never said Facebook deserved to be attacked, I SAID THEY WEREN'T GOING TO HACK IT.

They won't. It is a rumor.

Why don't YOU go to some Anon chat room and ask them yourself? You go into their chat room and even type the word "Facebook" you will get kicked. Why? They are sick of these uninformed gits thinking they know everything about Anonymous' plans based on a YouTube video. Get to know them, maybe you'll know something about it.:yuck:

And why even bother? It's just a site for "social networking", it won't affect you in real life. So why are you trying to defend it, when you can meet up with your friends in real life at I dunno, restaurants, other's homes, even at the track. Quit trying to take this seriously, I'm just here to say that these stupid rumors > facts is just annoying to deal with.

You're implying those IRC chats even represent Anon. I don't think you fully grasp what anonymous is about. Unless it's changed I dunno.

No one represents Anonymous, but IRC rooms are good for meeting some new Anon and some experienced.

I think one reason why they're attacking Facebook would be because all this information is available to the government, which makes them really mad since they are conspiracy theorists, thining that they are going into the hands of the illuminatti. IE, try typing in www.itanimulli.com in your browser, what happens? Its THIS about Facebook that they're hating it for.

Why do they hate the illuminati? Because they believe on "2012" they will take over the world. Here is some more info:

New World Order:

http://who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain=itanimulli.com&prog_id=GoDaddy

So some guy who may or may not be named John Fenley, from Provo UT, Phone #1-801-427-3274 registers a domain name with GoDaddy and makes it redirect to a US government website.

Your point please?

Also this.

NO, they hate Facebook because they believe that the government is storing data on them for unwanted uses. They also believe that the Illuminati IS the government, and since they hate the Illuminati due to the "New World Order", they want to get rid of Facebook. Ignore the itanumulli link.

Anyway, are they a little paranoid about the Illuminati then? I don't know, they might be right but I doubt the Illuminati is true. Although I don't go searching for this stuff so I might be wrong.

So they hate Facebook because the government are storing data on them? What role does Facebook play in the government storing data?

It just blablabla...
If they saw Zeitgeist they became a bunch of scary ret·$"&"&.
I mean, true or not, the point of the movie or the believes of so much peoples (in this case, the cowards of Ann), it will ruin you at some point.
Just go on with your life without bother other people, try to stay calm and be kind.

Anyone could stole your personal info and so what? you would find?

I dont know man, at the end is so unnecessary, stealing information or not, your life goes on. And you have to enjoy it because it is the only one we have.

A big hug.

Eager Snake.

Well, it can't obtain MORE data than spying, but it makes them EASIER to obtain it. I mean, isn't it harder to spy on someone than just read their status updates and find all about them?

Unfortunately for Anonymous, their support base is not going to get much bigger from now on, their lack of direction and willingness to attack anything, rather than just the bad things, is hurting them, eventually everyone will be against them cause they will have struck a cord in everyone somewhere.
I liked them at first but they are dangerously close to crossing the line with me.
I'd almost suspect that anon is really a government agency group just pushing for a reason for the government to clamp down on the internet, but these children are so stupid and short sighted, no adult could type the words they do.

One thing that keeps popping up in the news is talk of phones being hacked into, yet they fail to explain how this is possible, It's pissing me off because I know it's not. sure you can hack voicemail, or someone's email or twitter account, but you don't just plug an aerial into your computer and send 1s and 0s into the air and start controlling someone's phone.

This. False Flag ops feed on stupid people. In this case, the stupid people feed on it.

Well, my friend told me that Anon has helped find and catch pedos and rapists that's why the FBI/Police etc.. hold back.

Is this true or is my friend making this up ^?

So, which ones have they caught? See link above and on previous page... the FBI has arrested various members for various offenses.

Just because a member of the Alpha Beta Lambda Fraternity saved a kitty from a fire that one time doesn't make his frat-brothers immune from legal prosecution. Same applies to a nebulous organization like Anon.

A lot of anon's operations were originally against Scientology, god hates fags, people who have scammed others. Technically still wrong to do these things, but they were pretty moral. Now a lot of people want to go the wikileaks route and reveal information which is debatable whether it should have been released.

I would hardly call attacking a 12 year olds no swearing campaign moral.
