At first i will send a big thank you to all who give me support, report bugs and who are doing all these great skins for the cars. :bowdown: 😍 🤘💪

Atm i'm taking a short pause, but here is a short status report of what I have planned for the future:

  1. I'm not really happy with the behavior of the cars. Too much understeer at all and on all of the cars. I will work on this at first, so that driving of these cars will get a lot more fun.
  2. Then i will look at the bugs and do some fixing.
  3. I will add new cars to the package. I think our Guerilla Mods BMW E46 M3 GTR will be part of it too. Then following cars could also be available for selection: Aston Marting DBRS9, Porsche 997 GT3 Cup or Dodge Viper Competition Coupè. Which would you choose?

Viper please, BE_Modding has converted all variants of the Coupe Competition so all it would need is an look over by you and stuff, Then i'd personally want the Pork with the DBRS9 lastly tbh.

As I was looking around to get ideas for my next project after the Piper, It just occured to me.

I have never seen any Ferrari 250GT Breadvan in AC.
It's honestly a surprise, considering how famous this car is. And it's a Ferrari (pretty much... yeah). Feels like every Ferrari is on this game, more or less

What would come to your mind thinking about famous cars we don't have yet ?
I don't actually plan on doing the Breadvan (or a "famous car" in particular), I'm just being curious.

Recently I had to put aside conversions for a bit (and dedicate some time to track testing to relax).

In addition to the USAC/Indy/CART models (1980s)...work is still open on adding cars from 1976 (shared in part, Copersucar and Tyrrell P34), mod pack 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, addition of cars (1982, 1983), adjustments to the 1989 mod pack (which was a little out of size, in all cars, which required a lot of work), the same will have to be done (1985 and 1987)

As I saw in the posts, a lot of new things in the CART/Indy mods.
This is amazing! Massive USAC/CART/Indycar fan so thank you for all of your efforts. I look forward to every single one of these mods!

Is anyone able to help me to understand - using the exact same vehicles (Dakar CT4 class) - why A.I. works and are properly able to follow the a.i. line on P2P tracks made by RMi (such as Dirt2 Utah, or Dirt3 Michigan) ... but not on Gabenhood's Pikes Peak P2P? What would make the difference in having A.I. work on one but not the other? They even work on the Eiger Nordwand K-Trail, but for some reason - not PP. Is this something I simply have to live with? Just curious. Thanks in advance for any insight provided.

The breadvan would be an amazing choice. Something you might also consider and that's painfully missing is the Lamborghini Espada. Other than that, I am more into 90s cars. If you're too, you might want to look into the Iso Grifo 90 or maybe the Lamborghini Canto.

I'm surprised we haven't had a scratch built E Type of of any kind yet, Bazza's are good for now, but the model converts used are a bit on the low poly side of things.

AC 2007 season Magny Cours versus real Ferrari (2008). The real pole time in F1 was 1:15 both years. I drove 1:16. Not a perfect lap though.

I put a comparison to real Ferrari 2008 (Raikkonen pole time).

The track is Magny Cours 2011. Masterpiece.

This just shows how amazingly accurate (even time wise) these tracks are and how talented the AC modders are. Some better player could definitely clock it at 1:15. Even I could do it with some practice.

These VRC cars are amazing.

Here's my 2007 season (which I still polished more) if someone wants to try.

Unbelievably good and realistic season so far. Alonso and Hammy are very tough to beat (at ai level 99). I've enjoyed the races so much.

Breadvan please. Would love that car.

New Content Manager update:

0.8.2663.39678

  • Google Drive downloading fixed;
  • Experimental option for compressing files in background (recently installed content will be compressed first, compression is happening slow to make sure it wouldn’t impact computer performance);
  • New creator tool for generating ksanim files switching car geometry on and off if used for a wing in an optimal way;
  • User Championships now can use WeatherFX controllers;
  • UV2 tool checks if mesh is triangulated properly;
  • Fix for changing driver position in Custom Showroom;
  • Few smaller bug fixes.

The Breadvan is a great idea. Whatever you work on I hope its unique, weird and preferably vintage.

Thanks man. But after the update the BOPing is gone :guilty: The Ultima and Z4 are way stronger than the rest now. Followed by Vertige, Mantis and Mosler.

Is it possible to download the previous version please ?

I'm really looking forward to these models.👍
Let's see what I can adapt....but don't expect something extraordinary, it will be something functional just to make up part of the "Indy 500" grid at the time, then I will have to adapt the skins based on the model created (generally the Indy skins they are quite complex ), and as I'm not familiar with "Photoshop" I have to adapt it to "Windows Paint".

It's been a while since I posted, but I can finally say that release is near and not be unintentionally fibbing about it.:lol:
Still a fair amount of tweaking to be done, but 3+ years and 3500+ hours later, with over 450 trackside buildings made, here is a scruffy lap preview of Pescara 1957, the longest ever Formula 1 circuit at 25.6km and probably the most dangerous.
It will be released at https://italotracks.sellfy.store/ as a payware pack for AC and AMS1.

Looking absolutely FANTASTIC, lots of detail in that lap. Really, really looking forward to racing here.

Always beware of random updates for so called improvements.

I know what immediately comes to mind for me: the Howmet TX and the Rover BRM. Gas turbine engines were all the rage in the mid-to-late 60s, and these are two more famous examples of the wild experimentation this era of racing was known for. Also, gas turbine engine go whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I may have read a post before you started on the Piper with this suggested: The Ginetta G12!

What a great idea! 😁
