he got up like he wasnt tired at all, falls off the building without a scream, armor never protects from impact, only projectiles and weapons.

If you watch the first movie, the armor was "borrowed" for Spelunking, which should give the wearer adequate protection from a two/three story fall. Compared to Dent, with the armor on, it seems fairly obvious that Batman would be in better shape.

But now, wouldn't Batman be considered a villain to the citizens of Gotham now?

Yes and no. Batman has always been a villain and a hero to different people. The cops don't like him because he's doing their jobs. Some civilians don't like him because he is a vigilante with no reason for doing it... Much less, an identity that is recognizable. Batman does this because he believes its right, and there are a lot of people in Gotham who are thankful for it. Batman has been chased by the law extensively in both films, plus Gotham Knight, so its not all that different to him. My guess is that the last movie will dig pretty hard into the darker side of his persona, before some kind of triumphant end (I believe Nolan is planning a trilogy). We'll see.

Before I saw the film, I watched the trailer where he drove a LP640 around, I thought that was the new batmobile (remember I said i didn't watch previous batman movies), I thought the tumbler was destroyed in the last movie or something. Out of all cars, why a murcielago? and why only like 10 minutes of it?

Personally, I think what would've made a better cruising car would've been the Reventon. Why? One it looks more hype, more fictional, looks more like a bat at the least. The cockpit is made to be like the cockpit of a jet; something that flies, like a bat.

Because Murcielago literally means Bat in spanish.

So, anyway, I just picked this up on Blu-Ray. OH MY GOD, the eye and ear candy is incredible. I especially love the IMAX pulldown scenes. No letterboxing... looks amazing.

I don't really like Batman movies. I didn't really like the other Batman movies either. I'll end up watching the next Batman movie but I don't think I will like that one either.

Just finished watching this on a rented standard DVD, and I'm kicking myself. I should have bought the Blu-ray, when it was on sale at the new release. By the time I want to see it again, hopefully it will be cheaper. :D

Dark Knight is pretty impressive. While it's not even close to perfect in my view, or in my taste, it is pretty much as good as you can expect a film like this to be. I won't say it's better than the original(Keaton) Batman, just because of how remarkable that one was at the time of its release, I'd consider the Dark Knight at least to be in the same weight class. ;)

Okay, so, apparently I fell asleep watching the movie. And, instead of just turning off or going to a blank screen, the movie reverts back to a STATIC MENU THAT TAKES UP THE ENTIRE SCREEN. So now my awesome TV has some bogus image retention. My mom said it was still glowing when she turned off the TV. :scared: It's not that bad anymore... I can only hope it goes away entirely with enough time.

If it's one of the old ('03-'06) plasma TVs, then you're in for a loooong wait..:scared:

Agreed, for most part. I gotta tell you though, I just bought a new TV, and am able to use the 'upconvert' feature of PS3 for the first time. While it certainly isn't Blu-ray quality, as a owner of hundreds of standard DVDs, I'm pretty pleased with the upconvert playback feature of the PS3. Not too shabby. 👍

Nope, it's brand new. :D And, thankfully, it's pretty much gone. I can't tell it's there even if I tried.

Hmmm, I wouldn't count on it. People are actively looking for stuff on a new Batman movie, and truth be told, its so far away (Nolan has yet to actually sign) that its hard to make any kind of call. The rumors of Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing the Penguin are pretty far-fetched, as are those of Johnny Depp and the Riddler. But, rumors are rumors, and they're always fun!

Could be worse, YSSMAN. Someone from tabloid trash The Sun reported that the Riddler was to be played by Eddie Murphy. When everyone ridiculed and laughed at him, while Murphy's camp denied any involvement with Nolan and co. and it became pretty obvious that the story was a complete fabrication, the "reporter" who "reported" it came out and said he was sticking by his story and that his "well-placed source" within Warner Brothers said they had all but signed Murphy. In other words, he was saying "Okay, I've found out, but because I can't admit I was wrong, I'm going to be a stubborn stupid bastard and go down with the ship simply to prove a point".

I heard this a few weeks back as well, just another ploy by a tabloid to sell magazines with shock and outrage tactics. I would be surprised if anyone took the news seriously, especially anyone who has actually watched Nolan's 2 Batman flicks.

Oh, absolutely. Anyone knows that if Eddie Muprhy were to be playing the Riddler, he'd also be playing Batman, Alfred, Gordon and Rachel.
