Why not?

I dont get why an axis campaign is immoral. True they did some horrible things but thats not what this game focuses on.

True and I am with you but that is the way it has been. You don't see Nazi Call of Duties where the zombies are dead grunts.

You don't really want to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki do you? Yes the Axis Forces did some immoral things. What about the fire bombing of Tokoyo, which killed more people than Hiroshima. Fire bombing of several other Japaness citys, which suffered 98 damage. The European Air War, Dresden, Hamburg, Colgene. Total war can be a terrable thing for both sides.

Birds Of Prey has a very good story and shows this. This is not what these games are about. The forum for BOP has had a lot imput in to Birds Of Steel. There are now 40 planes, all with cockpit view. Some are from BOP, but others like Ju88, Lancaster, Boefighter and Wildcat are new. Hopefully flying planes like FW190, P51, which are to of the hardest planes to fly, will have been corrected.

I would recomend these games to anyone with an intrest in aviation. They are much better than some of the arcade flyers that have come out recently.

Im looking forward to Birds Of Steel I think it willbe my game of 2012

8th of march is pretty solid for Japan as its on Konami website but the rest is unknown. Anton's trying to get konami to let him announce it and konami are not sending anything back to his emails as far as I know
Heres a quote from him
"I've asked our Konami contact if I can spread the information on release date already (jp and us release dates almost always differs. Different SKUs, different markets, different manufacturing facilities)".

.

We are just as frustrated on the BOS forum.

Certainly going to be by the end of march though.

Anton said stay tuned when asked about a demo on the Gaijin forum.

I think this is a hint there will be one soon but he can't tell us when without bring dragged to court by Konami.

It's also worth pre-ordering as there are good deals around currently. I have mine pre-ordered a good month already and I'm paying £29 instead of the £39.95 It'll probably be on release.

I really like where this game is going; thought BoP was great too but I bought that quite a while after release so didn't get much online action. This time I'm working better shifts so hope that will be different this time around.

We still play BOP. Its usually late night though.

Just a little thing I thought would be interesting about the devloper. Im sorry the video is in russian as it was a russian game event and it's also Anton's native language but the writeup at the botom is interesting.

Yup H - I know there's still an active core as I visit the 1c forum fairly regularly - trouble is, until recently I was starting work at 4am (GMT) - these days I'm on normal shifts so I hope to get back in the groove before BoS is out :)

Yes I have preordered from Amazon, my local Gamestation didnt have it on there realise date list.

Tempted to order from amazon.
My local supermarket had both Apache Assault and IL-Sturmovik well under priced though.

AA was £18 from Tesco. BOP is Currently £29.99, although I'm more than prepared to pay that I may hold off the urge to pre-order.

No demo :(

But if you go to the US PS store then download quore episode 45 feb edition.

Skip the intro and you have an epic BOS preview.
