Body-Kits in GT4

Body kits can also save some weight too.

Drifters use kits for a couple reasons. Style is one. Durability is another. Drift spec kits will flex instead of crack and are less prone to breaking when hitting an object. When used with zip ties, a bumber will come off nice and clean, slide across the track, and will bolt right back on later with only paint damage. I don't know too many stock bumber that have that much durability.

I don't care about that crap.

Anyways, fun talking to you. Though, you seem a little bit on the other side.

I just put some water on my eyes, they seem open. All I see is a blury gay post.
Coming from one of those typical domestic loving rednecks you reply doesn't mean much to me. I'm sure you refer to anyone who drive an import with simple bolt-on's as a rice boy, and that your heavy, obsolete Mustang can burn it no problem.

You wanna use sterotypes, I will too. Shut up and grow up.

 You took my crap seriously.

Funny, Mustang's are cool. I don't like rice, dude.

I was playing.

It's funny how sure you are of yourself when your logic is so blatantly stupid it hurts. Go read up on some new automotive technology and stop living in the era of muscle cars. After you learn half a ****, then come back and talk to us.

More ingorance again... Skylines and Supra are regulated by Japanese law to 280ps, which translates to 276hp. Now in your world, how is that great? Is it that fact that they have potential that makes them great? There's plenty of cars with VERY similar specs to both those cars. Why aren't they held in the same regard as the Skyline or Supra?

That potential is what makes a car great. A well balanced, lightweight chassis, and an engine that can handle power will go a long way. Civic's, Integra's, Miata's, and the like all have plenty of potential. But your mind is too limited to see that.

I know of real world streetlegal Civic's that will out handle the top exoctic sports cars. I saw a magazine recently of a streelegal Civic pushing 700+hp at the wheels.

Dude, your sad.

Not body kits.

You proved yourself wrong. How sad.

How is that proving my self wrong? I didn't say a body kit is what makes a car the fastest. It does help a little bit though, and to a true racer, any little bit counts. Improved aerodynamics could make your car just that much better.

Yes but not if they don't give any aerodynamic benifits to the car, otherwise the game might tern into FnF which we don't want.

The game will never be like the FNF; ever.

I think the addition of body panel's that actually benefit the car would be a good thing. ie Top Secret,Scoot,RE Amemiya,JUN, all build body panel's that make the car look better, while adding/subtracting downforce.

A real import is a car thats been imported, a Civic can be a real import.

Ok, Battle_Stage you have good points and argued very well with everything about body kits and I agree with it all for the most part. Maybe body kits should be put into GT4. I think it would defiantely increase profits for Polyphony because they would just open themselves up another market of individuals to purchase the game. The flipside to that is the Polyphony would need to get the rights from the body kit manufactures. That would cost them extra money. I am not one to say that they will or won't be in the game, but it would be nice.

Now, on to my next issue. It is a magazine first. Second it is FWD and third, do you know where it is? 700hp in a FWD would be impossible to out handle an exotic. Dam it would be impossible to out handle a Pinto on a turn for that fact. I don't disagree that this Civic is out there. I am pretty sure it is actually. No matter what type of suspension setups on that car, it would not be able to keep up with a RWD or an AWD on a track with turns. On a strip I am sure that thing is extremely fast.

NO, that Civic's not FWD, it's had a drivetrain conversion, I can't remeber if it was 4WD or RWD but it wasn't FWD. Ofcourse if it was FWD as you said it would only be good in a straight line but this particular Civic isn't FWD.

No no no... you misunderstood. There are Civics than can out-handle exoctics, and there are also Civic's with 600-700+hp at the wheels.

How is it you know that car I'm talking about? I don't remember seeing anything about a drivetrain conversion, although there are plenty of drag racing Civic's that are RWD and MR.

I've read about a 700Bhp Civic recentley, I presumed that was the one, it was RWD or 4WD (I can't remeber which).

i say yes. but you know everyone has their own idea for gt4. i mean they arent making the game specifically just for every single one of each and every one of you. they arent making seperate games for all of us with all the stuff we want on it being on a version of your own specifications. lets say bodykits are on gt4. just because they are there doesnt mean people who hate riced up cars have to use them. in the gran turismo series, there's always been one key element:VARIETY. without variety then the gt series wouldnt be as successful as it is today. with variety there's something for everyone, whether its ricing up cars to drifting to just plain old racing.

hey body kits are great bring em on!:D i dont care if it ads weight or what ever
i want my car to be diffirent and if people dont like body kits THEN JUST DONT BUY THEM GEEZ!!!!!!:irked: and besides we dont even know what we are geting (it will be good though)
and any way maybe we will get body kits and race modes

AND RICE HATERS ARE:yuck: and they make me want to:yuck:
