Nice Ian side note my new virgin box turned up yesterday.
Download speed 126mbs but 8 in jitter!

Also on the 17th I get BT broadband to but there only rating me getting 79mbs but I'm hoping no jitter.
And no slow speed from 17:00 to 21:00 that I get with virgin ;)

8 jitter is high. :( I get 2 jitter which I guess isn't too bad but where I live the broadband speeds are poor.

Had a go around Indy, nothing too serious and I think that I'll be able to do a high 37, but tbh I had loads of distractions at the time (constant lobby chatter) so I need another go when it's quieter. Canyon is currently quicker than me but I think he has maybe had more track time.

The car is okay around Indy, just one corner which can be tail happy on the exit and a couple which need care when entering on the brakes as the car will start to slide the back out. I'm hoping for a nice clean race around here.

whats the page number which has the pp details on it as I cant find it...I want to set up and start practicing with my handy cap
nevermind I found it...page 1...lol

due to a full system restore I had to do on my ps3 all of my settings had been reset to default on my wheel which is why I kept spinning out...now I only spin out when I push too hard rather than at any and every corner...lol... hopefully my adjustments to my wheel settings will increase my pace enough to keep me up with the mid to front runners at last and I already know its helped me to keep facing the right way...lol

Nice! Glad you figured out the issue.

Omg Indy going to be fun, just been trying time trials.

Best time 01:38:465 but I can go better, just not easy lol.
Seems so easy to just over do one thing and your/sorry me in a mess the next bit.

Add racing line up, gives me a bad feeling I'm going in to a sand pit somewhere.
Even worse is that bit of track where players liked to drag race.
Over run and go on that with grip set to real is a good spin out, where your think you be ok.

Just know I'm going to do that more than once lol

01:37.718 that any good, I know I could knock of 200, and maybe get a 01:37:518.
But just getting in the 01:37 is not easy for me :(

Bad news for me I have to miss this weeks race

Have to go to Birmingham Thursday doubt I will make it back in time but I will try , chances look slim

:(

Used to live in america now live in the uk

Indy would of been good for me too :(

Would you guys start at 8 ?

I can get back for 7 05 and i live 10 mins from the station so 8 would be comfy

Race 2 won't start until about 7.30/7.35, is that a fair compromise?

You'd only miss the one race now the Q has changed to Race 1.

Yeh sounds fair enough .

Start at the usual time if i do make it back on time ill be ok .

If anything changes I will update on gtp .

@neljack ben testing. it's way worse thani imagined, and i can't really drive this **** car... If you wantt o find another teammate feel free so i would just give you zero chances in team standings and might ven quit halfway the season

Wow quite the difference in opinion then, I've found this car to be amongst the best handling in GT6, granted on rh compound. The sport soft tyres give it a bit more slip, I only fear the drastic grip reduction due to the mandatory pit stop and tyre bug. Are you using a DS3?

I agree this is one of my favorite cars in the game as it handles well yet it will bite you if you make even a small mistake. I thought maybe the car was just too twitchy for a wheel as I use a ds3 but I know there are some wheel users in here who are fast. The tire bug does seem to cost about a second a lap or more but since it's the same for everyone I don't think it will be that big of a deal. Just makes tire conservation on the first set more important. Will be interesting to see how strategies change if/when they fix it.

No, wheel, and this is the worst car i dealed with, and i trained with confort hard tires on 400hp fr cars... Might just not be the car for me... I can't get myself two avoid any and alla curbs and i have zero feeling of front tires grip. Not all cars are for everybody lol

True, this car certainly seems to not fit your driving style. But with practice I'm sure you can begin running competitive times.

It's only bad when you end up facing the wrong way lol.
I'm on pad and I don't find it that bad, I really like the car.

This Thursday going to be a hard race, and I know I'm going to be facing the wrong way more than once.

i get a sole lonely 38.9. i usually get around mid to high 39. seems i might be able to end the race without spining around too much running slower than this all laps >_>

There are bound to be a few people spinning out, the car will bite when provoked and when it isn't too. lol I'm looking forward to seeing how we all cope with the car.

yeah practice mate... try using 3rd gear instead of 2nd for tighter corners to stop the wheelspin and the flick that follows...the first two practice races I finished in last place for all but 1 race so I know how frustrating it can be to be off pace but stick with it ...you will improve with lap after lap...try testing with a lower power and when you can run a flat out lap without spinning out up the bhp and try again...

Sorry dude was in lectures

Erm, i should have some free time Thursday to test? 👍

Not managed to get on Indy for a while, I've been too busy and life is getting in the way. I'm still out working now. :( it'll make tomorrow's race all the more difficult for me, but I'm still looking forward to it.
