Maybe we should tweet this to the Kazmeister. Could be #487 on the to-do list...lol. Apparently the #1 thing he'd change about the game if he had the chance to do it over is...ready?...are you seated?...more A-spec. :dunce:

Sigh. I ruined my Alfa by installing non-removable parts ages ago.

Ouch! Chase a 65' Birthday ticket be your best bet.

Or spend 10million. Get that rubber bands out. lol

Im on the points sheet!!!!! woo hoo

Also, I thought I read we were going to be running Spa, am i remembering that right??

I think there are like 5 other '65 cars. And no rubberbanding when one has a wheel. Just unplug it and jam the gas :)

Back up game save in thumb drive. Start game try ticket. No luck. Load game save and try till you get it. ;)

Or you can turn Bob loose on the Historic B-spec. I have a 900hp Toyota 7 shared that should do the trick nicely. ;)

It was mentioned but I haven't a done enough testing there with the Cappy to say for sure. I kinda feel like I've already had to make too many changes mid-stream this season so I'm a bit hesitant to make another one but if the majority would like to run Spa then we can look into it. 👍

Well as long as it doesnt ruffle too many feathers, I would rather run Spa than Monaco.
Spa:tup:
Monaco:yuck:

Uncappy related but today I notice my employer signed me up for a family insurance plan without me knowing or signing anything, they stole $650 off me so far this year. Fighting them for my money back. I'm sure they are going to try everything they can to not pay me. It got me riled up. Hope I get the cash, have my eye on a headset to play while my family sleep.

I stopped paying for insurance years ago, the amount they get is just crazy. I will take my chances....... Sorry, dont mean to turn this into an insurance thread.......:ouch:

I get my insurance for free, as does my wife from the university, so why the frik would I pay for family insurance to cover her!?! The company I work for are a joke, can't wait to go full time freelance once the wife gets out of school.

I noticed the suzuki cervo has exactly the same HP fully tuned as the cappy, same engine?

Since there's been some chatter about the Alfa lately, would anybody be interested in doing some spot races with it after Saturday's Capp race? Even though I've put over 100 miles on my TZ2 I think I've actually raced it online only once or twice.

Sounds good, just not at Kart Space.
Where have you been running the alfa?
It should go well at Laguna.

So far I've driven it on la Sarthe, Daytona Road, Nordschlife, Spa, Monaco and Monza. I didn't think it would have enough gear for the long stretches of la Sarthe and Daytona but surprisingly it did, even with the draft! I think I tapped the limiter once while drafting behind Owens at la Sarthe but it was right at the braking point so wasn't an issue. Did just fine at Monza too, pretty tall gears in this thing for a 5-speed. With the stock suspension I can feel bumps on these tracks that I've never felt before, I like it. :)

Your intense infatuation with this car makes me chuckle at times B, you talk about it like it’s a woman  I love the enthusiasm.

I’ll try to make the Saturday fun runs and spend a length of time with this car, got to rake the yard first though :(

Are you planning on running them bone stock? What tires?

She is a beauty! I'm not sure I've come across another car in GT5 that I've enjoyed as much as this one. 👍

I've been driving it on the totally stock settings with Sports Soft tires. It comes with Race Hard tires but those really suck the character out of the old Alfa so I switched to the sports. Still has lots of grip while being a bit slippy, but unlike the Cappy it's incredibly easy to hang onto if the back end steps out a bit. I've drifted through Eau Rouge many times with the Alfa. :)

I have to agree with B on the Alfa. That car does seem to have some soul. Great fun no tune on sports softs.

Also for a different change of pace. Try out Alfa Fields track on my shared tracks. Incredible lil track. Thank to Yuri and B for the feed back. I think my recent changes has really made this track something special.

I've honestly never enjoyed custom tracks. However this one fell together and was like Oh my. This is good. I gotta share.

Kinda of a Spa/Monza/Laguna mix.

I agree, this is one of the better custom tracks I've driven on. Has a couple nice "feature" elements to it (a-la Laguna's Corkscrew or Nordschlife's Carousel) and has a very flowing feel to it. Tight and technical in the first half and opens up to a very fast final sector, all with just the right amount of elevation change. I highly recommend downloading it, good job Owens. 👍

My lounge is open if anyone wants to join MikaelK and me for some practise at Rome Reverse.

Closed: Good night y'all! Have a good race.

One of the few custom tracks I've really enjoyed Owens good job. Anxious to see what the altered banking does. The technical part of the track really suited the Alfa and gave you the opportunity to try various angles of attack to maximize exit speed from the corners. The high speed, but not wide open first and last corner, were well suited to the Alfa as well. Really it should be a good track for most cars and it's short enough that it's relatively quick to learn.

Yes I'm an Alfamaniac too...lol. :sly:

12 hour shift almost over! Looking forward to the race. Just got a dash across the city and grab something to eat, then race time!

Good luck! London can have some ridiculous traffic, even though it's not that large of a town.

Extreme apologies fellas. Made a bunch of changes in the car and then got called out to an emergency at work. Made it back with just one lap to spare in qualifying but didn't have time to change everything back. Thought it would be ok but the changes were obviously for the worst as I spun twice in the race and blocked someone the second time. Figured discretion was the better part of valour and backed out so as not get in anyone else's way.

Sorry, shouldn't have started in the first place!!! Too excited that I made it back just in the nick of time, didn't realize the changes were that extreme. :dunce:

No worries. If your still on come back in for some Alfa fun.

I had totaled my car in the treacherous left hander at the bottom of the hill (normal lay out its a right) anyway. That turn is thorn in my side. Either I nail it and rip through or I crash. I could slow down more but that ain't fast. Anyway this track isn't for me. I am gonna have to skip tomorrow.
