Was 10 points ahead going into the final race when this happened:

Lost the tournament by one point. :(

My windscreen wipers stopped working half way through a wet race at Silverstone.
I didn't think mechanical failures would include that!

Wipers depend on how hard it's raining, I think. If it's not raining down "hard" enough, the wipers don't activate. It's kinda weird.

Wipers are not automatic as far as I can tell. When the rain start you can activate them or not if you want. I mapped a button on my G27 for them but if the rain comes I am the one pressing the button to activate the wipers.

So no, wipers don't depend on nothing more than just you.

So since everyone seems to be stuck to the career mode like glue (it seems), curious where you guys are at. Which season, which division, what path you took, what difficulty, etc.

I've played so much offline racing over the last 3.5 years that I'm trying to spend most of my time online, but without a group of clean racers it seems like a task that is difficult to enjoy ever since the game has been released into the wild.

I'm starting season 2, super karts. I'm playing on pro, and I keep changing the AI difficulty to make it challenging as sometimes it's too easy to beat them while other times they drive like possessed demons. Having heaps of fun though.

I'm not starting a career until I'm comfortable with the basics (mainly FOV and FFB settings).
There is so much to get acquainted with. So far it feels like a first date. :)

so far i've only completed the first 2 rounds of the Clio Cup and it's been really good fun. great little cars that can be thrown around without too much worry. a very good start to my career

Exactly the same here. They drive really well with the controller, I'm even a tad faster in them than with my wheel.

So i won the Clio Cup season, Did not read the contract offers right...Thought i was joining Ginetta GT4 team instead i joined the Ford Mustang GT4 team and the car is disgusting to drive, Really struggling with it and not finding it much fun at all :scared:

Also im not really finding the road car invitational's much fun either as most cars seem horrible to drive especially the Ruf, R8 road car has so far only been the one thats fun to drive.

that's probably fairly realistic. I think the road cars are meant to be like that, which is why I'm glad there aren't too many of them. don't think I've even taken one out for a spin yet other than the Atom and BAC
