I won the Formula Rookie championship but I got no contracts it just goes into another season. I had the same issue with the Clio championship. I win, win every race and no contract offers.

One time I found a button to skip the season but I don't see that anymore. There is a huge bug here.

What AI difficulty level did you use during that Season? Is it possible that if you use a low AI difficulty levels.....or win races by large margins........... that you are less likely to receive Contract offers as often?

I was using 70% AI. I'm not a great racer but I won almost every race and had a huge points lead.

They should keep it simple. If you win the championship in your tier you should be allowed to move on to the next tier.

in a thread that likely has discussion about events in the career?

 👍

Is it me or are the pitstop troubles also scripted? I'm in race 2 of round 2 of the Ginetta G40 GT5 Championship at Donington. I restarted 3 times to test pitstops...once at lap 8, once at lap 6, and once at lap 3. All three of them had wheelnut troubles. It seems like it will always have the trouble at pitstop regardless

I've done the G40 Jnr championship twice and one time through I had a number of wheelnut issues, second time I had none.

I found that most of my wheel nut issues came from suspension damage, although that could just be coincidence.

I really, really need to cut the habit of diving on my opponents from 150+ meters away.

Did you win both the regional and the world championship?

I didn't win the final race but I won in the standing by plenty. I had won every race before that by a mile and was so far ahead in points that I didn't think it mattered.

But that's at the heart of the issue. The requirements to progress should be simple and clear. If you win the championship in your tier you should progress to the next tier. Even if you don't win you should be allowed to progress if you want.

If you won both championships, finished the season and didn't get contract offers, there's something wrong. You should report it on the official forum. At least you should be offered a contract renewal or go through your previous offers.

I've never had any pitstop troubles so far and I've done 2 Clio seasons, 1 Ginetta junior season and now on my third GT4 season... So I don't think it's scripted.

Finally finished and won the gt4 championship; i had to "cheat" by lowering the AI at the wet race at bathurst else i would have been stuck forever...

They need to fix the issue for i still feel bad to have to lower AI by ten points... :( In any case i signed with a team using the Z4 Gt3; i was tempted to take the Aston Martin v2 gt3 that had an ORGASMIC engine sound, but after some test the z4 seems way more driveable...

Btw those are FAST i'll have issues and a blast driving them :D

Redeemed myself at the Donington Park Round...won both races from pole, even with the pitstop issues. Killed them actually. Won the first race by 10 seconds and the second by 26. Now 3rd overall in the championship.

Ginetta G40 Career Round 3 at Silverstone.

Practice in the Rain. Cool. 👍
Qualify in the dry. Cool. 👍

Sprint Race begins in the Dry. Starts to rain about half way through. Cool. 👍

Leading the race. Pit. Come out 10th. Half the field doesn't pit. Complete the race in 10th. Dumb, but ok.

So, I think, "well, maybe I don't have to pit." That's kind of goofy, but I'll roll with it.
I restart.

But the car is undriveable on the default tires "auto by weather". 👎

EDIT: KNOWN ISSUE. Patch pending.

So ummm.. im in a situation here. Im on the zero to hero path and im in my 4th season and im about to do my last race of the season in GT3. I pretty much got the championship on lock (had AI on 90% for all races) and didn't really struggle at no races except spa. But i really think i can get that defending championship goal in this series but... by the time that happens it will be season 7. My thing is what if i don't get a contract from lmp 1 before season 8. Then the zero to hero path is go be gone. I got a hard decsion to make lol. And i don't know if i will be competitive in LMP1 against the AI. So that's a problem as well.

Remember, there are 2 'championships' in a 'season'. A season being a calender year. You only get contract offers at the end of the season, not the end of each championship.

Ok trying to make the decsion right now. Renew, and 3 endurance gt class offers and a LMP2. Going to go online and race for a little while i think lol.

I won that race by 30 seconds+ by not pitting and just dropping my pace as the weather picked up. It never goes to a full downpour, so keeping heat in the tyres I was able to manage it on slicks.

In the second race the rain does pick up though making slicks impossible. Still won that one by 10 seconds+ though.

OMG, thank you for explaining this to me. I don't follow racing so the idea of two championships in a season is new to me. Ok, that explains it.

Overall, they could make contract offers a little clearer. What's the point of getting offers mid season if you can't accept them until the end.

I'm not sure if all tiers have 2 chamionships, but I know karts and rookie both have a regional and international championship. Maybe someone who is further into career can confirm.

With the AI at 100%, it would not be possible for me to win if I slowed down any more.

What race distance are you running? I'm doing 100% race lengths and haven't yet seen the AI pit problems others have mentioned (compulsory pit on the last lap, etc), so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. 100% difficulty too.

I've completed season 3 in the Formula Rookie, and signed up for Formula 1000 for season 4.
I can't say it enough, this game is just beautiful!

You'll blast right through it. It's only two rounds.
And it sucks for me because of the open-wheel classes, Formula Gulf 1000 is the best open-wheel class. Formula B is the only other open-wheel class I can drive competently, but the AI drivers in higher tier series seem to be out on a mission to murder me like some crappy grimdark fanfiction.

100% on both. I've never noticed AI issues until now.
