Holy **** that was an awesome quali. First round of the Historic 320 invitational race at Hockenheim Short...driving the BMW 320 Turbo Group 5 of course. What an awesome car. A bit of a handful...didn't really have a good practice. Into quali was 7th for a long time, up until 3 mins to go...went through first sector with the best time, and moved up to 4th after completed the lap. Still had close to 2 mins so pushed for one more lap. Went through first sector, best sector time again, second sector, best sector time there too! Couldn't quite nab the third sector but moved to 2nd position! Most satisfying quali ever, even more so than my poles that I got with my Clio.

Great car. Love the way the Beemers drive in PCARS, especially when they're wearing the classic white, blue and red livery.:)

I've had an amazing start to Season 4. Entered 2 invitationals so far, UK Road Car and Euro Road Car and won them both. :D

The Beemer 1 series is an absolute beauty to drive.

Hm, so it's not just on consoles. I wonder what triggers this stupid bug, as not many people seem to have it. Tried a new career: bug still appears. Tried single race: all good.
I'm close to deleting everything and installing the game again.
Played last night with no issues at all. I have no idea what to make of it.

Yes. Tuning is more or less completely bunk for me at the moment. I'm on PC. Mine started out minor in that it would revert to the default every time, but now it makes some very wild changes. I have to reset to default every time I enter the tuning menu otherwise I get a car with 2nd, 4th and 5th gears as the same.
Once in a while I get a thing happening where I place my cursor over a slider and the slider values just go all wonky, changing at high speed without making any adjustments. Does that happen to you?

Last night I took home the championship in the G40. The final main race at Donnington was a goody. Rain to start then it clears off to have a dry finish with the sun going down. Awesome. I do wish there was a heads up from the pits about the weather; a simple "looks like the rain will be moving out soon"or "the weather's coming in soon. " During the race at Donnington I kept putting off pitting because I was hopeful the rain would clear out. Alittle feedback like that would make the decisions easier.

PS4 user , have the same problem with the setup .
Start to tune the car , drive the car leave the car ,take another one coming back to the first car .....bang setup is gonna away .Now I right the setup down on a paper .Some cars have it some don't .

I'm getting consistent and reproducible issues with setup, specifically on the TC2 Historic invitational event using the Mk1 Escort. When I enter any session in the event the car has a crazy setup on it that is pretty much undriveable. When I first encountered it I found a decent tune online, put it onto the car and saved. However when I entered the qualifying session the crazy setup was back. This time I hit the reset button and all the settings changed to the "correct" defaults for the car, which is perfectly driveable. Qualified, moved on to the race and the crazy setup was back.

In a nutshell, at the start of every session of this invitational I have to reset the setup to get a car that I can drive. I think the same thing is happening on invitiationals featuring the Focus and Megane, but I haven't had time to check that yet. This is all on the PC version for me, though it sounds like the same thing is happening on all platforms.

Not yet. Well, that may not be completely true. I've had cursor issues, but I've attributed them to my use of a wireless, optical mouse on the arm of my chair. It isn't so great at fine movements.

I guess career mode was the least tested mode by the community, as not many people wanted to have it spoiled. I suppose that this is the result then...

Haha...I thought I was the only one (mouse on the arm of the chair):D I do have a second gaming mouse but still had the same issue once in while with that mouse so it's not mouse related in my case.

Yes, has happened to me 3 or 4 times so far.

Won the formula B championship today. Hard series, 7 rounds, 14 races, lots of laps. Really have to concentrate. Took an offer in Formula A, 19 rounds, might take a while.

I got called to GT4 after the Clio Cup, I believe it's a bug since I didn't did well in the Cup season(10th). I won't complain, I really don't like the GT5.

I'm searching for a detailed career structure. For example, I just started in the Touring/Clio Cup races. Where can I find a list of the races in that series? How many races? What tracks? Details of each series?

Does such a thing exist?

Good point… I'll keep following this thread to see if someone does have this list.

Another career question...I just started my 2nd season in the Clio Cup after not accepting a Kart ride after my first season. I was just offered a ride in the Historic TC2 UK Trophy and I would like to accept it. How do I accept? Can I race in both the Clio Cup season and the Historic TC2 season at the same time? Do I have to abandon the Clio Cup Season to accept the other offer?

I spent 30 minutes trying to decide if I wanted to sign to drive the 302r, the Ginetta or the V8 Vantage in the GT4 class. I hoped that driving them all in solo mode would make the choice simpler... it didn't. In the end I chose the mustang because... proper stick:lol:

Yes, you can I race in both.
You dont have to sign or accept anything, it's a invitational event and it will be available in your calendar. You if don't want to participate, skip to next event.

🤬 Had the most disappointing race so far. Race 1 of round 1 of GT5 Ginetta G40 series. Qualified 15th at Oulton Park International. Started not too good, settled at 12th. Took 4 laps to get close to 11th and was going to try and pass him. Spin out at turn 10 and 11, Hislop's. Well fell right back, luckily I built enough gap to maintain 12th. Next lap, spin out...again at turn 10 and 11. I hate those two corners. If anyone can enlighten me how to take those corners in a G40 I will be very grateful. I'm nervous everytime I approach it. After the second spinout, I drop to 14th. Final lap, trying to recover 13th place, spin out at Cascade's. Ended up finishing the race 16th...:banghead:

I won the Formula Rookie championship but I got no contracts it just goes into another season. I had the same issue with the Clio championship. I win, win every race and no contract offers.

One time I found a button to skip the season but I don't see that anymore. There is a huge bug here.

where are in the career the invitationals events of the limited edition of the game?
Not sure what the requirements for getting invited to them are, I've only done the M1 Procar one so far, which I have to say is actually the single best career event I have done so far, the car is brilliant and the track, ToD and weather they have matched it with are stunning.

You should've picked the Ginetta. By far the Ginetta is the best. Its the fastest(in the corners) by far.

I drive the Mustang in the GT4 class. Its fun, but its a tank that's slow in the corners and fast on the straights.

I plan on doing multiple seasons in GT4 so I'm sure the Ginetta will get some love eventually. I did love the way it sounded when I drove it. But with my purchase of the thrustmaster shifter I decided to get some good out of it with a true manual. 👍

Do you ever get multiple offers from different teams within the series you are currently in? I'm in GT endurance, but wonder whether I will get an offer from other teams in the class?
