Had a go on the demo and must admit im quite disappointed by it and for one reason only the cars handling !!

The car is far to twitchy and as for having virtually no steering while braking in a corner is a bit over the top... im sorry but no road car i have driven has ever handled nor acted as badly as the 370z does on this demo and i really do hope the full game is not as over the top as this.

gt5p was not too far off with the physics i felt it just needed some fine tuning... anyway rant over :)

Got to agree with you there gtbloke. I really enjoyed GT5 Prologue but I've struggled to keep the car on the track consistently and there is no way a stock 370Z would spin in some of the situations that it has.
Must admit that I'm a little worried because I've never had this problem before!

We got 2 new whiners!
Dont forget to enable TCS in the full game, both of you! You want The Real Arcade Simulator? Go play something else.

Are you slowing the car down enough before you get to your turning point?

My apologies fella but i dont spend every day trawling through forums and just wanted to post my own opinion :)

Which is what the impressions thread is for. Why exactly does your opinion deserve its own thread?

You signed the AUP, your opinion is no more important than anyone elses, drop the attitude and show a little respect. If your around here long enough, you'll soon realize how stupid you sound.

Come on man, I bet mr. Yamauchi has much more experience driving real cars, expensive and super sport cars than you do and his goal is to implement that realism into a game. It simply cannot degrade, that would be unnatural and plain missing out the goal.

Don't get above your station just to try and get a few friends on here. Have you ever heard of a concept called "manners"? I suggest that you go and look it up and do your best to get some quickly.

Yeah point taken there pal. Gues it's practice, practice, practice then. Just finding it difficult compared to GT5P though.

I agree it is way more difficult, but that doesn't mean it's any less realistic. None of us actually drove a 370z hard enough to compare.

Actually I got yelled at trying to post in that thread  Never going there again.
Lets look at your post history in that thread-
That's what I'm saying lol.
Nope, not an impression.

Again, no impression.

Agreed, now if only we'd have damage
Is there a trend starting here?

No it doesn't.

Just stay on topic.

Facepalm
If your going to be that way...your post just now has nothing to do with this thread's topic...what am I doing different from you and everyone else?

I've been active in this forum long before you, and never had any issues with other users before. I know what is wrong and right in this place.

Not to start another argument, but I don't think it's "right" to bring another thread's "issue" into another.

This is what happens when too many arcade games are released (GRID, NFS SHIFT, FORZA3)
I tried GRID the other day, no sense of using the gearbox to break, you can drift at any angle and you can basically turn at any given speed. Something similar happens with NFS and FORZA3.

Of course, if you played those games then you may feel a little bit overwhelmed by GT5.
Haven’t tried the demo yet, I will tonight and promise I will provide un unbiased report.

People think that if you put Sports tires on a stock 370z you the car is best handling ever.. in real life they are not best handling cars ever, even tho they are still good.

I think that the N3's would be closest counterpart to runflats or all seasons in this game, as they're not known about their grip..

I would think N3's are the equivalent to good road tires. S range tires would be track day tires and R well...racing. That's what I think.

Yeah I think so too, N3s are like one of the bit expensive tires that are all season. Also S tires, you can buy street legal ones.. just google all season tires, and Sports tires.

I am pretty sure they equipped the stock 370Z with N3 tires because that is the equivalent to what comes on them from the factory (when it is stock ).

^^^^ This.

The biggest difference in this build, versus prologue is definitely the weight. The weight seems to be more apparent. My motto for driving is to ease down on the brakes for a turn, don't slam. Transition off the brakes, then turn as you'll have enough traction. I find you have to brake a bit earlier, because the vehicle is heavy, and you cant slow a 370z from 120mph to 30mph in half a second. Practice braking with the new build.

I'm just trying to mention the things that I most definitely noticed coming from prologue, and I posted a top 50 time within a few minutes once I started really looking at my turn entry speed. The game feels faster than prologue, and heavier.

I wont agree with you on one thing, I test drove a 350z vs my g35. The 350z was definitely a bit... easy to spin if you gave it a *touch* too much. Everyone down in Los Angeles ends up wrecking them, which explains why the insurance is so much for them versus a g35 coupe. Keep in mind, you're on N3's as well, now think about how HARD you're driving it.

I did honestly think the same thing, but then I noticed I was being a bit too heavy on the gas. The wheelspin is whats killing you, wot only through straights and I think you'll be ok.

I'm sorry but the problem here is that people post replies that are just rude and ignorant. I personally get annoyed when I see people replying to posts with things like "shut this useless thread" or "why have you posted this in here" etc. Manners do not cost a thing and I hope that the moderators are taking note because I bet I'm not the only one getting a bit annoyed with people's rudeness. Shame this has come out on the day of the demo release but there we go.

Cheers mate. Nice reply and thanks for the advice. Now that's more like it!

Anyone Knows what kind of Model the 370z is?

Because if you go to Nissan Site, you can choose from Normal car, to touring car, so other package, each package seems it gives stiffer suspension and limited slip and other features for sportier ride.
