People think that if you put Sports tires on a stock 370z you the car is best handling ever.. in real life they are not best handling cars ever, even tho they are still good.

The 370Z can pull a .94g skidpad number. Not too shabby for a factory car for $30k.

I'm sorry but the problem here is that people post replies that are just rude and ignorant. I personally get annoyed when I see people replying to posts with things like "shut this useless thread" or "why have you posted this in here" etc. Manners do not cost a thing and I hope that the moderators are taking note because I bet I'm not the only one getting a bit annoyed with people's rudeness. Shame this has come out on the day of the demo release but there we go.

A lot of people around here, including me, get VERY annoyed when people start threads talking about things we already have threads for. That's why I posted that link. Take it or leave it.

Im thinking the handling is a huge step in the right direction compared to GT5P, I cant wait to see what many more cars handle like.

It feels as though the car can be pushed a lot harder if you know how to handle it.

I'm not overly impressed either. The physics and force feedback still need work. There is still no feel in the force feedback at the limit. Anybody that has played Supercar or Ferrari Challenge with a wheel knows what I am talking about.

Well it seems this forum does not like people starting a new thread ' it is a forum isnt it ? ' and no im not another whiner i just have other things to do in life but dream about gt5 !!

I am entitled to my own opinion as that is what forums are for.... oh sorry it needs to be in the correct thread doesnt it or else you get abuse like this !

I am 30 years old and i dont really care how many cars 'mr yamauchi' has driven to implement these physics but they are way over the top... i have had my fair share of cars and i can tell you now that no car i have driven in anger acts like the 370z does on this demo and i highly doubt the real world counterpart does too but draw your own conclusions and i will keep mine !

^ :odd:

Blademask & myself have tried to help you by trying to make you aware of why the car may be behaving the way you described and also suggesting some driving techniques for you to try to see if that helps you at all.

That was what you were originally hoping for wasn't it?

This is a forum, to a point. But there really is no reason to start a new thread when there is already a thread to discuss what you are thinking.

And no reason for that other comment. You're just making it personal now.

Exactly. Agreed. It seems like those who are complaining don't know what a car's really like.

For my first few laps I couldn't keep the car on the black stuff, last time I checked I was just inside the top 100 for the UK (that won't last !)

It does take a bit of getting used to, but once you get to grips with it it is many times better than Prologue in every sense, Well done PD, smashing work :)

We got 2 new whiners!
Dont forget to enable TCS in the full game, both of you! You want The Real Arcade Simulator? Go play something else.

It's a sign of either immaturity or unintelligence that when someone has an opinion over a little computer demo that you choose to side with the computer over the person. Bless. You need to step away from your games for a while boy.

This forum is obviously full of guys thinking that making physics five times tougher than real life driving is the only way to do it right. Epic fail.

For YOU.

I quite like the game actually.

Apparently you don't. So, stop spreading your negativity. Get's old REALLY fast.

Physics five times tougher than real life driving? What in the world are you talking about?

You want to complain? Go talk to Kazunori... I 'm sure he would just smile at you instead of saying FAIL in japanese. ("SHIPPAI" ??)

It's a sign of either immaturity or unintelligence that when someone speaks their opinion, you choose to call call them immature or unintelligent. People have the right to take whatever side they choose, and that has nothing to do with their intelligence.

That's quite impossible, because "physics" bow to no-one.

Either you portray them correctly, or not.

We could talk user interface and interaction, but that has got nothing to do with any natural science. We could talk game-play design, but that again has nothing to do with physics.

For me, using a DS3, the cars are pretty much underivable. The sticks have such a short amount of "throw" than anything other than very slight inputs result in MASSIVE amounts of steering. Using the G25, is beautiful.

Yep, which is roughly the G's the N3 tyred stocker gets in the time trial, it sits around just under 1g in the bends with some spikes on transition above that.

Yes, but nobody has the right to make insulting comments like this...

...just because someone disagrees with them.

Oh my God I forgot "whiner" is an insult
ooo aaa I'm gonna die! Same for all those who answered in No46_TheDoctor's thread.
Come on teamstig! Have some fun with us and dont be hypocrite. Oh my god another insult, noooo :(

Seriously, you need to chill...

"im sorry but no road car i have driven has ever handled nor acted as badly as the 370z does on this demo and i really do hope the full game is not as over the top as this."

you obviously havent driven a car with N3 tyres
N3 tyres are very slippery and doesnt have alot of grip. im sure it would handle much better with R1s. i dont think its over the top at all i actually think the N3 behaves very realistically much better than prologue

At first I was a bit shocked by the braking going into the corners but i began to be more sensitive on the brake pedal and paying more attention to the actual sounds of the tires. And wallla! my braking distances were shortening because my tires weren't totally locking anymore. Now this is way better than in gt4 where i never had success trying this that much. if this is the the way we will have to play GT5, kudos to the Kaz for making us all better drivers. It is exciting to know I will be rewarded for trying harder in the new game! Instead of going ...full gas or full brake all the time. By the way this thread has been good for me in its criticism because the tough stuff gets brought out that way. Thanks for the facts bout settings on the wheel to simulation. sorry for the long post

Driving that stock 370, it felt like I was driving on ice. Tuned one did handle much better though. I already posted in another thread, but I also wanted to whine that the game could have been a bit easier for more casual/mainstream gamers. That's just my opinion. I am very happy with the overall physics, graphics and the sound.

What is up with the self-appointed moderators? If you think this thread is a violation, report it to the real admin or moderator. I think you guys are spamming the thread, personally. Chill & drop the attitude, indeed. :dopey:

Point I wana make is: Dont whine aboout how the game feels if you arent using the proper inputs for it. Maybe if you stop buyin weed for a month and get a job, you can hopefully afford one. Got my Driving Force GT for 40 bucks.

Hahahahahahahhahaha. The point is the car IS twitchy with the steering ratio and on R1s. My controller works fine. I don't smoke weed however, wherever you would find the assumption and I lost my job. If I could find a DFGT for 40, I might consider buying it.. But I'm not exactly on the hunt for a wheel.
