If GT5 doesn't pull it's finger out with the update/DLC I can see a lot of people going over to the dark side if it isn't huge.
Remove the Forza logo from the Supra and the 180 and they could pass off as real pics. The Skyline has a rendered look. If GT5 has to compete with that, then PD has to make way more customization options than what we already, along with other things. Otherwise, GT5 would just get :censored:raped by Forza.

The standing shots are impressive but in game they look typical FM3 style. It's the customisation and detail that draw people in, plus the fact FM4 already has DLC available.

Flopza 4 will come out about 1 year later than GT5. Even though they will not top the in game graphics of GT5. These pictures are like the photomode of GT5, the cars look a good bit better and detailed there with all the light effects and stuff.

Indeed, I was watching a demo clip the other day with a guy trying to drift an M3. The chase view graphics are terrible and the physics didn't look up to much seeing as he was going arab style on the straights.

Those shots look amazing but in fairness, very well done GT5 photomode shots look just like real life too. These shots were done by the developers themselves so they would have looked as good as they can possible be.
I always hated the physics in Forza. the drifting feels like your on an ice rinc and racing still feels very arcade style.

I really do hope PD steps up its game though with the DLC and other future updates with more tracks and better customisation. I don't want to get an xbox just for a handful of games but if the physics of Forza can match GT5, I'll be very tempted!

I dont know what you try to say about "chase view graphics are terrible" on Forza 3, but the chase camera movement and angle is much more usefull than in GT5.
The question:
I never actualy played forza, i only saw videos... so Forza have a separated set of physics for drift mode? (i hate games with this stupid feature).

First off i'm not sure about the change in physics for drift mode but have a look on FM4 forums.
Secondly, I didn't say anything about chase view features I described the graphics. Lastly, with respect, if you like FM4 so much you best duck off and play it.
Even if Forza 4 has better graphics, GT5 still owns the best physics you can get on a console.
FM4 won't have better graphics, its literally impossible as xbox's don't have blue ray.

Where did i wrote that "i like FM4"?
I wont replace GT5 for another drifting game, period, with or without 2.0.
Oh, and for last but not least, more important than graphic quality, frame per second comes first, specialy in racing games with a rich set of physics like GT5. And i trully dont believe that FM will reach crystal 60 fps.

Drifterz, no. I didn´t defended Forza. Actualy i criticized the chase view in GT5, that is not only worst than Forza patterns of chase cam, but many other racing games have a better and more effective camera.
Bro, chill it. Sounds like ur impregnated of flamewars from many other discussions about GT5 x FM.
