I spent a solid 10hrs on this yesterday. Really enjoyed it and first proper gaming session since another heart emergency admission last week.
Loving the physics on ds3, ain't well enough to use a wheel. Takes some tweaking with ABS etc.. off or tiny amounts of steering adj sensitivity to get it to feel right and for me if you don't do manual gears a brain fart. I'm glad cars feel at limit or pushed over and I know it's my fault.
So much praise and so much enjoyment...then I reliased how much is missing from 5. Ok maybe not vanilla 5 put maan why cut so much.
So decided to bench it for 6months....not happy bout it but will get more enjoyment out of the career later on.
I am getting sick of patching later and get it out now mentality. It seems to be we're PC gaming was 2004-2005 then everyone started saying if you do that we won't buy it.
I'm currently staring at Forza and BF4 on xbone same problem, and Im going back to GTA5 after benching that since release with its bugs.
It's a shame but being a avid gamer for all my 40yrs nearly I won't play half arsed games when I know patches will make em better later on. Learnt that from PC. Never used to be this way..state of easiness of net I guess. So off another one goes on the pile to join the likes of Skyrim
See u all in 6months. Back to GT5 and my 3d on that! U took 3d out wtf!
Forgot to say as asked the AI is abborant and bouncey static line get out my way as usual. PGR and Forza this ain't. I never buy em for that tho. I like the feel, the collecting cars and how the game plays. For how it feels I think it's the best arcade sim out there, no sim GP Legends but best of the halfway house sims. If it gets a good following with meaty online and some good patches it could be very special later on
