DTM3 - Race 6 @ GP/D, 3/9

Which Circiuts should we use for DTM3? (Top 5 will get used)

Hi guys..

Just a quick update on my BMW saga.. I've tried to get hold of one but had no success. Might have to become a reserve I think, unless anybody wants to trade team (TT-R)..
 
^^^ well, that's for JT to decide. The unconfirmed tag is just for the new guys because their spot isn't definitive until they have shown up.Maybe I should have used another term
If we look at it in a positive way we have only 2 empty spots for Saturdays race and probably one more driver from the reserve list to fill in.
Will message the people tonight via PSN to get a head count.

Can't find a PSN-ID for lmracer24 btw!
 
I would still like to race on Saturday but don't mind the start of the season being put back a week. So if we are not doing grand valley I would still like to have a race with the people who can make it. As symp said its really up to JT but it would be good to know everyones view on it, so that JT can make and informed decision.

Symp how is the headcount going..............
 
We got 6 confirmed + Sass of the reserves. Have plans to do another spam round tonight via PM on GTP.
I propose we decide tomorrow and agree if we postpone the season start to have another pre-season race this Saturday
 
I dont mind either way. I would still try for it to be race 1 this Saturday but if you dont get the numbers (Less than 6 or 7 i would say) just declare it another pre-season and do another track. I think you will end up with more than last week though.

Up to you guys though because im not racing this Saturday.
 
bbvdd, i'll swap you that BMW M3 GTR for my TT-R space (reluctantly - bye bye Audi, its been emotional...). Plenty of time next week to get it up to speed. If you have a good tune for it i wouldn't mind the info though.
 
^^ J TURNER... U legend! Right then, count me in ppl, just informed the gf that ill be racing this weekend. I got a roll of the eyes but I'm in (the joys of living together)

Afraid I havnt got much as far as a tune goes, but I can recommend 'the prodigy' ;-)

Just so I'm clear on the pit stop regulations... if the pit stop window is at the end of laps 9, 12 and 20, 25. Does that mean u can come in at the end of either one of those laps (2 stop race, using all three sets of tyres once)?

^ yes ie u can pit at the end of 9,10,11,12 and 20,21,22,23,24,25 if the pit window was 9, 12 and 20, 25. if you start on softs pit 1 you change to mediums/hards then pit2 you change to the remaining compound this can be done in any order as long as you use all 3

^^ JT you'd be better asking LSD,godo,pipi since pipi used M3 last year and lsd and godo are your new team mates.
 
yea im still in i just need to know the date and time my psn agentareanas0 oo yea are there any restrictions on the vauxhuall team
 
^ page 6 on this forum has all the details of race 930pm GMT, add symp_4000 he'll be host, 573bhp 1120kg I suggest reading the rules aswell on DTM Group page

Well thats rubbish lol, I was about to call dibs on one of these for next season :). Guess I'll just need to join real DTM lol :D
 
looking forward to the race tomorrow, will try to get some practice in today, had some races in the clk this week and she's tuned nicely
anxious to see the level of competitors in this series
 
Here are the results of the headcount so far:
- 9 people from the drivers list have confirmed for Saturdays race
- 3 people from the drivers list did not react on any messages via GTP or PSN
- Sassafrass will join Saturday, right now there are free spots for the BMW team and TT-R team for sure
- Have to contact Antz1980 about his 2nd choice of car because it looks like all the spots in the CLK team are taken

BTW, BB_Voodoo, welcome in the TT-R team! Hope you can help us with the team points to get our team to the first place this season!

good work symp looks like were gona have a good turn out then, think you should put deathbyrotor on reserve list. As he's not responded to any message for a good few weeks now and he never actualy said he'd be racing in DTM3 to anyone.

Sadly I'm not Jamie Green lol, If I was racing in dtm those lovley cars goruk posted would all get writin off in 1st race lol

I think the pace on softs will be around 1.46/1.47 just to give everyone and idea of the pace. although ive seen goruk doing 145 but he's not human lol

hey guys im a reserve for dtm and i was just wondering how to join properly. I found the link but it wont let me join as i dont have permission to join the group, i had some advise to send this message to help with permission to join dtm. hope it works see you on the track =)

Update of the headcount...
Currently it looks like we will start with 13 drivers! But:
- teeds is driving back from holiday today and hopes to arrive home in time
- stevymccaff is still trying to get hold of an A4
- i hope sassafrass has a BMW
