Well, Rob Austin has switched from Field Motorsport engines to the ToCA Swindon engine and it seems to have done the trick:

Good god! Has everybody gone to the Performance Vauxhall show today or something??

Very clean race 1 this morning, Dave Newsham didn't fare so well which was a shame, Sam Tordoff did very well, seemed very straight forward podium finish for MG........

Action packed final race!! Made up for the other 2 races being relatively straight forward.....

Rob Austin had a great start, just a shame he kept locking up, or running wide at the hairpin.

Jeff Smith had a great race too, a costly mistake that he will be kicking himself over!!

Looking forward to Croft in few weeks time :-D

Again I missed Race 1. Need to know pre-weekend that the BTCC is on. I always end up turning on ITV4 at like 2pm. Today I turned it on just before the ads that were on before the second race.

It's repeated on Tuesday 10th June on ITV4 at 16:30 mate! Set up your recorder :-)

Andrew Jordan wins race 3 because of Matt Neal's terrible driving, Turkington deserved it.
I must have been watching a different race. I saw Andrew Jordan win race 3 because of Jeff Smith's terrible driving.

I saw him get bored of being behind Rob Austin and just smash him out of the way (after a few attempts to spin him in the hairpin) then fall off the track after wrecking his own tyres. I don't really know what Matt Neal and Colin Turkington had to do with it - they seemed to have a good, fair battle with each other once they'd gravitated to 3rd/4th (and then 2nd/3rd).

He's on a fr surrounded by ff cars that's probably why no one mention it.
It's normal that he gets a better start.

Was better than the other FR though.

Tim Harvey blasted past me on the M6 on the way back from Oulton yesterday :P

Really? That makes sense as he was getting hounded all over the straights but was having some good dices with Frank Wrathall and Aron Smith from what I saw trackside.

Lea Wood and Liam Griffin seemed to be very close to each other in all 3 races too, Griffin is having a great season really.

Yep, Will should have the engine in for next round 👍
