Dude you were really fast in the GT-A Rally we did, I would have thought you would be able to tear Eifel a new one with this low-grip/AWD combo.

Ah, but sliding a rally car around can actually help your times. Here it does nothing for me. I'm going to sit it out until Sunday and keep an eye on things. If it only takes a tenth or two for me to get back into the top 8 then I'll put some more time in. Any more than that, well, it was fun. :)

I mean no offense to anyone but when someone comes in hear and basically says flat out people are cheating in the words of peter griffin "it grinds my gears". I understand why people would be weary after all the bs that went on in rnd.2.

What i see the time gap being based on is talent. Seems like some people can't get that through there their head and except accept that there they're not as good as they thought.

 Sorry, I had a hard time reading this post I had to make some changes lol

On serious note, I don't think anyone is cheating, and if you ask me personally, I never thought I was on a level to compete with the top guys in this game. However, I do feel like my skills and understanding of driving as a real driver are good enough for me to adapt to the game and learn how to be one of those top guys over time.

What gap? There is no exploit.
There are areas all 4 wheels can go off the track but it isn't faster that way.

And I suspect replays will be back.

Not to open up a can of worms, but where can you go 4 off and not get red on eiffel?

-And speaking of borat, when he came to Birmingham that was my church preacher (before I stopped sacrificing church for nascar) who got up and left!

As far as eifel and indy, I'm satisfied with the penalty system. Although it is annoying when you go 4 off or tag the wall in an effort that only slows you down, but then again that is the drivers fault.

If im going red its usually T3. The closest i've come to 4 offis that last kink before the bends on the front stretch, but then again Im only 2 off straightening out the chicane.

i took off from driving the gtr at eifel for a while. to practice, i made a range stormer concept with 660hp, 710lbs/ft of torque, 1900kg, highest, softest suspension in the game, no camber or toe, on comfort hards, on london reverse.

5 laps in this thing and the gtr will feel like a bellydancer lol

Whats up with S_Diem? (acerockolla on the forums) He was one of the top guys in the West in Round 1 and he only posted a slow time at Indy and seems like he hasn't tried since? Its going to be scary to see what happens this weekend when people start their last minute rallies.

I did not expect to make it to the top 8,but i did expect to have fun. This comp has left me with a sour taste in my mouth.Racing is my life and so are cars.I already make money racing r/c cars and tuning and repairing real cars at my place of buisness.Just dont think this show has been run properly at all.I will keep trying even though i dont stand a chance. If replays come back and all laps are clean i will take back what i said.Last night i was hot lapping and stumbled on something that was shocking enough at that moment to think the way i do.I just want to race without thinking iam getting porked.Sorry if i offended any of you clean racers.See you at stigz.

I think he said he's been sick.

And yeah, I agree about people finally showing this weekend as there are quite a few that are not up there yet.

Ah, Eifel. I love you the most, but you reciprocate with nothing but hate.

Haha. I am truly in awe at the 17s posted on the Eifel course, as I feel as if the real skill gap is obvious here. I know I can get sub 20 at Eifel if I actually spend time on it, but I feel as if I don't even know the method to determine the fastest way around that track. Cheers to all you amazing drivers that are going to move on, you guys truly deserve it.

And R1600, it seems like you have a defeatist attitude, but you have so much more skill than most, keep your head up!

I hope they bring the replay's after the maintenance today, dunno how some of you are getting below 20's @ Eifel. :D

Watched this movie today. Inspired me to do better. Particularly this scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6kWt-ZGNtM

Ahhhh sometimes all you need is a bit of eastern philosophy :).

I dropped from a 1:19.9 to a 1:18.1 and i know what to do in order to get a 1:17.5 . It isn't impossible and there is no cutting involved guys so get to work!

Up until tonight I have only driven Eifel for 1hr, did a 2:21.3 and was dumbfounded by the 2:17's. Just put in another 20min and dropped to a 2:19.8 so I def see where I'm losing time, and each lap I'm figuring out new things. If I wasn't busy with work/gf I'm positive I could get into the low 2:17's.......just a matter of the time. Don't lose hope guys, you could be stuck for hours and suddenly you drop 1-2 seconds. Also, if you've been doing a long stint, take a breather, browse the web or eat and let your mind relax for a few. Best of luck to all!

Even more fun is every 5th or 6th lap taking pit road around 140 mph... for some reason it puts a smile on my face cause its so bad. And this is with the car around 90* the wrong way -_-;

2:19 flat and I'm calling it a night. Gotta be up early for work. I've been almost a second up on that time but can't string it together, and even then it feels sloppy. Realistically though..... in the NE I'll need a mid 2:17 to be in the running...... better put these 3 days to use eh.

I hope replays aren't back. I worked my collective butt off to be where I'm at. Now others will just copy what's been done and close the gap.
