!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!o.O FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some text specs as well.

Wow, Fanatec just took it to a whole new level. I thought my G25 was a nice wheel.

Expensive is right. $450 for wheel base plus whatever wheel rim you want to run. So, $600 at the cheapest up to $750 whew. I don't think its a waste of money just a lot of money.

I'm sure they will sell a lot of these. I personally want to get a few other things before getting a new wheel.(triple screen set-up and custom built pc only for iRacing and F1 2011). May get F1 for ps3, not sure.

First review. From the PS3 version. OPM UK scored it 8/10 citing that it's not easy for beginners.

I tend to take their reviews with a pinch of salt though. Some of the ridiculous criticism's they make of games.

I was gonna say, they are complaining that its hard to stay on the road? Good! They are either rubbish drivers or the games difficult.

I wouldn't want a racing game that wasn't hard to start with. IMO the learning curve is part of the experience, especially in a game with very similar vehicles. If you're winning every race from the get go then what's going to be fun when you get really into it?
This also think this'll be good for the team progression, starting form the lower teams and making your way up!

F1 2010 didn't have much of a learning curve iirc. So its definatley promising that there will be some kind of curve this time round.

Does anyone know if Codies have said anything about driver changes during the season? Even something as simple as being able to choose the reserve drivers? Even back on F1 95 they had the reserve drivers/driver changes.

I think I remember reading something about them not letting the AI drivers transfer teams due to license limitations - but what about real-life mid-season driver changes? Basically are Ricciardo, Chandhok and Senna in the game?

I agree about OPM's criticism being a good one for us racing fans. Ardius, there will be no driver changes.

Pretty sure that wont be the case.

Yep, they're not correcting mid-season changes. I don't remember if the problem was the license not allowing them or there just being a crapload of FOM hoops to jump through and not being worth the time working on that when they could do something else more gameplay-meaningful. They've talked about it on twitter and the forums I think, but I'm too lazy right now to go digging.

Edit: Didn't see this posted. Devs answer twitter questions.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I really hope the contract/reputation level in 2011 has some of the kinks worked out. I can't believe people have been able to win all/nearly all the races in a season for one of the Top 3 teams & yet, never offered a contract to come back.

I would think teams like McLaren, Ferrari, or RBR (any for that matter, really) would re-sign a driver who just won them a championship.

The said they've fixed it. You can now see the effects of decisions you make in front of the media; apparently they have "press clippings" that are small stories that publish your comments, and you can see how your team and other teams have reacted.

Last year one thing bothered me alot when watching the replays - the cars hovering around the track.

I was really hoping it to be fixed in F1 2011 but looking at this pic Im beggining to doubt it.

Is it so hard to make the cars look like they are actualy touching the ground????

For them I guess it is...we can only hope that it isn't so

Yeah, I've seen it all through DIRT 3 - the cars dance around when there is a laggy connection. They can actually be really difficult to pass; I was in a rallycross event the other day and kept a wide berth of the leader, who was all over the place. I got to the next corner, and suddenly he was on top of me.

HAHA Been there done that, HATE IT!!

The CM forum thread you took that pic from is cracking me up, there's guys hoping the developers "notice" and fix it before the release or afterwards with a patch... As if we - and they - didn't well know cars floating on the track were the worst issue watching F1 2010 replays.

That's nothing compared to some of the things I've read on the CM forums. If so much as an advertising board changes, there'll be at least five threads asking if it has been fixed. Those forums are a riot. Wait and see, at Singapore, there'll be a new sponsor and people will ask if it's in the game.

Well I kind of agree with you but after seing this pic and knowing that myself reported this issue last year at least two times (besides like Feschka pointed out -As if we - and they - didn't well know cars floating on the track were the worst issue watching F1 2010 ) I starting to believe that we really cant complain enough can we??? and its not lag... it happened last year and it sure seems to be in for this year as well... really hope Im wrong.

By the way... Im Degamax in that forum and it was me who opened the thread there too... because this really, really ruinned the replays for me last year...
