Who do you reckon Sauber will hold responsible for that one? Ericsson is the one who dive-bombed, but he was taking matters into his own hands, as Nasr was refusing to obey team orders. I agree with Brundle that it's a sackable offence for both of them but, of course, their sponsorship money is Sauber's lifeblood at the moment.

Couldn't care less about them disappearing from the grid, to be honest. What an uninteresting, and lifeless team.

I can't remember the last time I saw a driver miss a corner, then cut across the racing line to defend a position like that.
If we're talking strictly F1, then the claim is reasonable, if motorsport in general, then it pales in comparison to other stuff we've seen.

I said "the dirtiest move we've seen in a long time", not "the dirtiest move we've ever seen".

Wait, you guys expected Hamilton to get a penalty? You can't be serious...

They're still figuring out what new rule to invent to penalize him.

I was out when the move happened. I'm hoping for a replay, but if it's similar to Spain, I suspect the stewards figure the timing was too tight to justify a penalty.

From the onboard, Riccardo's front left looks garbage

Maybe he just backed off a couple laps to cook them off.

Never mind, he just locked the front left again...I think he's done unless Ham has massive deg issues

Problem is you're saying that just because it was Lewis Hamilton. You believe that using big paragraphs and fancy words can cover-up your bias, as we've seen time and time again. But really, you're only fooling yourself. Fact is that whilst it wasn't the cleanest move, the stewards have decided that Daniel wouldn't have made it past anyway. And they're in a far better position to judge, than you'll ever be.

If F1 drivers got punished for going off the circuit as much as us couch racers get punished for it (5 sec time penalty with zero power), Ricci would be clear. Since this is real life and going off the track doesn't matter, your point stands....
