There was a gap, Ricciardo just wasn't at the right angle to get into it since he was still coming from the left. But it was there.

When I initially watched the replay, it seemed as if Ricciardo was far enough alongside; and that Hamilton gave him a dirty chop. Going by that image however, he plainly wasn't. In fact by the looks of it, he wasn't really alongside at all. It was just very close. So I agree with the stewards decision, that it was a valid block by Hamilton.

So, if it starts to rain heavier, who do y'all think will have the cojones to stay out on dry tyres?

Or of course Alonso is low-key crying because he's driving on P5 and possibly finishes on P5 in a Honda.

Hamilton has managed to save the best of those tires for half a race?

Inconceivable!

So the question is, when are Pirelli actually going to make a truly soft tyre that wears but doesn't overheat? Because these "Ultra" soft are clearly anything but.

I always think one of these days a marshal at Monaco is going to wave a flag a little too far out and actually get it right onto a drivers helmet.

So you can go most of the race distance on a tyre that's called Ultra Soft.

Mercedes were very good with the strategy for Lewis, he just about deserved that but they got lucky no doubt, Red Bull gave them the race today.
