Sainz has gone through the gravel twice and is STILL 7th lol.
Gasly's train has absolutely spread the field put for those stuck behind.

Checo's penalty is a 10s addition to his pit stop, not a 10s stop/go penalty. That should save him a good 25 seconds.

Wonder if Perez tries slicks a tick early to try and offset the 10s penalty? Plus get data for Max.

That penalty dished out for Perez is quite confusing. A 10-sec stop/go penalty is supposed to be served within 3 laps, right?

From what I understand, it's not a stop/go, but rather just a 10 second penalty. It looks like the 10 seconds will be added to his next pit stop.

Edit: Vettel first on slicks, gets a 10-second stop/go for tires not being fitted on time. Wasn't that the whole point of having Vettel start from the pits? :odd:

I think it's a regular 10 sec, not a stop/go, but the graphic was wrong

Ahhh okay, got it. Yeah the graphic seemed to have made it confusing.

Here we go, the first of the slick runners. Aaaand tough luck again for Vettel. 2nd race weekend in a row now for him :(

May be best to wait a tad longer for slicks. Vettel's car looks to be stepping out any time he tries to get some power down.

Hamilton driving on the wet parts to cool his tires. He is closing down real fast on Verstappen.

Tsunoda on slicks. Looks like we're going to start seeing the grid transition.

Barely a third of the way in and Mazepin is two laps down. He's on course to be unclassified.

How many laps down would he have to be for that to happen?
