You can make that argument about Imola too... or lots of points and decisions. Lewis will just need to put on his 7x Championships britches and pass Max.

The term anticlimax kind of implies it only applies to things happening at the end.

Not saying the other things weren't a farce, but they weren't an anticlimax to the championship

I've held the belief for years now but the fact you can change tyres under red flag is such a farce. And I'm sorry but this whole red flag is fishy. Considering how lenient to RB with rulings they have been this doesn't help optics.
I've been advocating to have this rule changed for years. Maybe today will finally make that happen. Even NASCAR doesn't let anyone touch the car under red flag conditions.

The NASCAR fan inside me HATES that you can change tires/repair cars under red. I think this is the second time this year we’ve been in this kind of situation? Really hope that rule get’s changed for next year.

Well rules are rules. Mercedes should have known it was too risky to give up track position. It's not the first time Mercedes shoot themselves in the foot. At least as it was pointed out previously they could have split their strategy but they gambled it all on this... I'm a Hamilton fan btw.
They've made terrible strategy calls all season.

Weird how things play out. I saw just as many people wondering why Red Bull didn't pit Max instead and leave Checo out.

Everyone vote Mick DOTD.

It's entirely possible for another red flag later in the race to benefit Mercedes-Benz.
I doubt it, everyone can finish the race on these tires, so nobody will risk a pit stop unless they can do so without losing position

So, why's it not a standing start?

Edit: ignore this, I'd read it was going to be rolling.
