I think the same...Maybe ForzaRC?
Hmm. Guessing something could be announced later this week if they still have something planned. Maybe a new car or 2 at the race this year, not in FM7?
I just leave it on because I don't tend to stick to just one vehicle. I'm constantly building and switching. This is what I do, when I did a few laps on a track or if I know it well enough. I just wonder if Forza wants you to trailbrake more than you do in other racing games?
I guess, the answer is no and I should disable the line.
Depending on how different you tune cars, the braking point for each could be significantly different. In that case, like me mentioning constantly tuning and driving different cars, driving line definitely comes in handy specifically because I intentionally switch up my cars very often. You don't need the driving line turned on, as you can see the tyre marks/driving line as a darker section of the asphalt.
I was driving the BMW Z4M (a car I own in real life) and it's rear end was so unstable, it was all wrong.
The track response was definitely enlightening, with him talking about trying to include fantasy tracks & real tracks, and the attempt at seeing if they could include a full IMSA selection of tracks. Looks like they'll be making more of a push for that in FM8 based on his comments on whether or not they can do it now or later.
Same here I was really looking forward to more modern IMSA cars especially DPI's and at least 1 more track like mid Ohio. But all we got was around half a dozen or so classic and modern GT IMSA rides.I feel like in nearly 2 years it was a missed opportunity but let's hope for FM8 they fully take advantage of the partnership and include what has been asked for and what's needed for true motorsport. The whole IMSA tie in really never amounted to much, at least in this game. I was hoping by now we would have seen current generation DPi's and at least an attempt to modernize GTD's with Huracan, Ferrari 488, Mercedes AMG GT, Acura NSX, etc. Maybe for FM8 they might actually try to make at least a partial resemblance to IMSA.
I'd love to see a return of the Sidewinder Proving Grounds from FM3.and intriguingly mentioning how a fantasy track could help players learn about things like car control or race regulations.

Microsoft is friendly with Nintendo now, right? I say we get Rainbow Road in FM8.
In all seriousness, for as much of a mess as FM7 was for a while, I appreciate how open and receptive to feedback Turn 10 have been. This goes for Playground as well. All of Microsoft's major first parties, actually, seem to make it clear that they really listen to what their communities are saying - even if that doesn't necessarily mean immediately DELIVERING everything they want.
I think FM8 has a decent chance to be great, if they implement lessons learned from this generation, and build on what they did post-release with FM7.
Also, I'd like to see the next Forza just be called "Forza Motorsport", with Microsoft announcing it as a generation-long PLATFORM they will add to over the years. New cars, new disciplines, new tracks, new modes - some free, some paid, depending on what makes sense You could even do bi-annual "Version 2.0, Version 3.0" updates or whatever that are gigantic expansions - but all adding to the same base game. Keep everything together. You can even dole out the odd facelift for the game, if the visual tech of the engine gets more refined over the generation.
A single Scarlett Forza game, with eventually thousands of cars, dozens of tracks, every major racing discipline, a career mode with ongoing updates, and what would eventually be the biggest, most robust multiplayer component ever. Let's do it.
I wish I can Like this post over and over again. Hats down to you my friend. 👍Microsoft is friendly with Nintendo now, right? I say we get Rainbow Road in FM8.
