Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

Did you remember that on the top of your head? 👍

There was also footage of Seattle and Apricot Hill indicating that it's probably already modeled, as well as several possible photomode locations. It's been months since we saw those trailers so I think it's safe to assume that it'll probably be saved for GT6, rather than GT5 Spec III or DLC.

And lets not forget ElCapitain, the new NSX, the SEMA winners for the past two years and the Alfa Romero Mito that was spotted on a PC in PD's offices ages ago ;)

Let's summarize:

Tracks
- El Capitan
- Apricot Hill
- Seattle
- Willow Springs
- Pikes Peak
- Silverstone

Cars
- Acura NSX
- Alfa Romero Mito
- SEMA Winner 1
- SEMA Winner 2
- new Red Bull Racing car (based on the quote from their info)
- Abarth 1500 Bertone
- Plymouth XNR Ghia
- Ferrari 500 Mondial
- 208 T16 Pikes Peak ?
- Hyundai Veloster ?
- Hyundai Genesis ?
- P4/5 Competizione ?
- KTM

Anything else we could consider "safe" due to trailers/teasers?

I definitely remember El Capitan, but I thought that was possibly a GT PSP CG cutscene mistakenly put into that RedBull GT5 trailer, as it shows the Enzo in similar GT PSP CG quality. It just didn't make sense to me back then, that they would show a track that is seemingly ready to go for GT5 before its release but was cutoff in the final game. I mean if it was shown and ready I don't see why it wouldn't make the cut. But yes, I would certainly put that at least into what's being saved for GT6.

I can't even post a video in GTPSP discussion without someone picking it up for some reason :)

Stop stalking me, I want to have normal conversation about the GT on forums I love without seeing being quoted for everything :)

Damn :)

Great powers demand great responsability! :dopey:

LOL, just kidding amar... you know, crazy times, people are going nuts until wednesday.

Isn't there a special GT-Planet witness protection program?
You can't expect a normal life here after all the things you told us, my deepest sympathy however. ;)

I want to echo the sentiments of these two posters as well.

Amar, you are a celebrity of sorts and have been since your "Winds" post. If what you have said in regards to GT6 comes true...

... you might want to hire a bodyguard.:)

Have you thought of posting under an alias? ;)

Pikes Peak was rumored by Red Bull, AND Red Bull just so happens to be at this GT event, sponsoring the new Peugeot 208 T16 for Pikes Peak and with driver Sebastian Loeb behind the wheel (who appears in 'person' in GT5). Now speculating is ok, not saying this is definite but the wording from RB alludes to new cars from RB in future GT games...

Hyundai Veloster

P4/5 Competizione

?

Although yes, not confirmed, they were caught in the act.

Don't know but Redbull is sponsoring Peugeot's return to Pikes Peaks with it's 208 T16 Pikes Peak!

Could be this? Guess not.

The Saleen S7 TT was in the latest teaser and the Alfa 155 V6 ti was present the same day as the P4, they've got to be premium this time around.

I'd like Pikes peak to return. That was a fun event, mostly because it was unique. Nothing else was really like it. Uphill, point to point.

👍

Don't want to see another X2013 or something weird. Should be the Peugeot 208 T16!

I totally agree with you bud. 👍 The Pikes Peak Peugoet is by far the best choice over those ugh stuff, especially if GT6 has a tire and suspension model to create a realistic physics model. :)

Honestly I think tomorrow is: GT ACADEMY 2013 launch, news GT6 will feature these manufacturers, and "wait for E3". Would be surprised if we get anymore.

Agreed. Lots of flash, lots of speculation, but I doubt a date or a video. We'll see. Since there's no live feed, I'm not expecting much.

CorvetteConquer's forecast:

1. Introducing GT Academy 2013 and the program's continued success

2. Trailer of KTM/Redbull driving on GT6's rendition of Silverstone

3. Announcement of GT6 and for which console(s). No specific date, but a general season (Holiday 2013)

4. Gran Turismo Vita teaser

5. Unveiling of the mystery car. Will be free DLC on GT5

E3 2013= playable gameplay. And a lot more information on GT6's features, cars, tracks, etc.

Haha. Your forecast cheered me up CorvetteConquer. :) The other two above you made me feel down, but thanks to you, I'm back up again. :D Thanks man. 👍

I know the event is NOT going to be just GT Academy 2013... >_>

if Pikes Peak is in, do you think they'll give us a couple versions of it? As of 2012 they paved the entire route (ugh). I'm sure PD prefer to be up-to-date, but I'm equally sure that most drivers would like to see an older version with maybe half dirt/half pavement as seen here: PikesPeakMap --paved sections are highlighted
-Or might there be a time of historical significance with a different layout that may be even better? Maybe something from the 1920's? Haha. Well at the very least one paved, and one with some dirt would be the way to go..

Also, to every one of you who is doubting Gran Turismo 6 being mentioned at this Silverstone Event: The GT[*] sequence in the teaser video that ends with this: GT_
Would they really be that cruel? Are they gonna fill that obvious space with 'vita' or 'academy'? C'mon now. PD is a lot of things, lots of good/lots of bad -but they are not blatantly cruel like that. There may be vita news. There will certainly be Academy news- but these are periphery to 95% of us. It's time. It's time for Kazunori's 6th baby. Have you guys seen him lately? His belly is super fat, and this one's going to be a monster. :sly:

It really can't just be for GT Academy. GT Academy owes its success to the empire that Gran Turismo is. So there just has to be more....

And we can't forget this is also a celebration of 15 years in the business. That's an accomplishment and we, the fans, are a major part of the success!

And GT6 is just around the corner; it's a secret to nobody. Who knows how much they'll divulge. That's the real question.
