- Under your bed.
- Ask me, man.
3. Because its already massive. The only people who do not have a PS3 now are those who cant afford it. When they do get a PS3 at perhaps the next price drop, Im sure a $20 GT5 XL Edition will be more enticing to them then a $60 GT6.
Say what?!
Do you really believe that more people would choose an old, tired, garbage GT5 XL over a brand new game with new cars/tracks? You're smarter than that.
Also, your first point lends me a little credibility, too. The only people who do not have a PS3 are those who cannot afford it, right? So why in the world would the others shuffle out even more money for a more expensive PS4 + the cost of a next gen game? (hopefully it's still $60). And we are only assuming with everybody with a PS3 will get a PS4. That's a bit tricky.
The large PS3 install base + not having to buy a new console for GT6= many copies sold. I wonder how long it would take for Sony JUST to sell 9 million PS4's. I use 9 million because that's how many GT5 copies were sold. So for a PS4 GT6 to sell as many copies as GT5, Sony would first need to sell 9 million PS4's. And even when that happens, we would be under this ludicrous idea that every owner of those 9 million PS4 consoles had purchased GT6.
-Your other arguments are good enough. But this one stuck out, as it's the most difficult point to refute, in my opinion.
