Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

Well there are two distinct possibilites the way I look at it.

Either:

A) Sony have told retailer(s) about an unannounced game and that is how they've got the information.
B) The retailers haven't been told anything by Sony and they're just going on various other tidbits of information.

I know which one seems more likely to me.....

Definatly B, There is no way that 2 random online retailers have the information regarding GT6's platform and release date before every gaming publication/journalist on the planet, it makes no sense, i think that they are just making the most of the specualation and earning some easy pre order cash.

This 2nd retailer will just be copying the platfrom/release date of Newegg hoping to get some of that internet money.

Pretty much could be what you said, but what Sony should do if GT6 is not going to PS3 is to inform customers, "do NOT pre order GT6 on PS3 because it will not exist".

They can't say that without announcing that it will be on ps4. And they clearly don't want to do that yet, if it's true.

Developers can't be held over a barrel by silly retailers trying to squeeze info out of them and pre orders out if us.

Depends on how smart PD is. It's not that simple.

YES, YES!!! The first one seems very truthful but is probably a place holder, and the second one kinda shows that Porsche might be in GT6, which will be cool.

Oh, and that car has a GT License Plate, which all cars should have for GT6. 👍

SimonK it's getting tiresome going through every single thread where you are constantly having a go at People when a lot of the time it's not even warranted!
Now I know i'm going to get a frosty reception and an 'I'm entitled to my opinion and if I think people say something stupid i'm going to tell them' response, I'm not trying to deprive you of that! It just seems sometimes I perceive it as you trying to create a hostile atmosphere considering you still give out to Peoples asinine comments that everyone else already ignored! Why bother? That then railroads the thread people were talking about! It's the very last time i'll even mention it I'll just say it bugs me that's all!

I don't at all, nor did he do anything 'bad' it was just an observation I have made over seeing many many posts! All i'm saying is just to lighten up a tad on some issues! Obviously not to accept BS either but find a line! In general there is a lot of thought put into SimonK's post's I just don't see the need for undeniable passive aggressiveness!

I'll have to agree with tillbot on Simon. There are a few posters here who do little but throw darts at people, and Simon does this quite a lot. He's a smart guy, can have lucid, intelligent chats with us, so I don't know why he spends so much time critiquing the other folk. Anyhow...

On these tiny tidbits seeping into the nets, I can sure understand that, and why SONY and PD are so tight lipped. I'm sure this is the exact kind of thing they want to see, us buzzing about their flagship title, and is a good measure of fan interest. This is likely going to build up to diesel piston intensity as we get close to E3. I'm finally reaching the point that I seriously want to know something about GT6 too, but I think I can withstand the pressure for a few more weeks. ...I think.

If you have an issue with a member and believe they have broken the AUP you report it, what you do not do is turn it into a public discussion.

...and on that note, I don't see a problem with commenting on obviously-fake GT6 mock-ups with comments relating to such. They are obvious(ly fake), and they are pretty useless. Especially with a Porsche on the front.

It looks more like a Porsche 991 GT3 than a RUF, especially the RGT-8, from the back. The rear bumper and the vents on the car gives it away.

But even though it's a fake cover car, whoever did this was a genius. And it somewhat tells me if it was the official case artwork, that we could be seeing Porsches in the series starting with GT6. :tup:

But I'm going nuts for E3 myself....

If those box arts were the actual box arts of GT6 (which they aren't) that would be the poorest graphics design to ever leave Polyphony Digital. Even the first Gran Turismo (even with the primitive GT logo) held a quality level miles above those.

If you compare it with anything they've done since GT3 you'll find that either they must have sacked the entire graphics design department and let the accountants do the box art, or it's fake.

I remember the consensus around here when the GT 5 disc was shown. Everyone said it was fake because it looked poor, even the wheel was off centre on the printed disc. PD would never produce such an amateur looking product etc.
