Gran Turismo 6 E3 2013, General discussion(Live streaming links).

The sounds are beautiful, despite only brief moments of it being audible. Anyone else notice? But of course, knowing trailers, it could be that they aren't the real deal. Now to wait.

They've done this many times before. I wouldn't get my hopes up seriously.

That attention to detail :scared:
Can't wait to see GT6's Bathurst!

It is completely baffling to me that Willow Springs makes it into GT before Road America, Watkins Glen, Mid-Ohio, VIR or Sebring. Apparently Polyphony is a little California-centric - Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Willow Springs all make it before those five tracks I listed above. Frustrating. Hopefully some of those make it as DLC at least.

Definitely a photomode location in Spain:

I thought this looked familiar...I was showing my Dad around the Bridge in Ronda...this shop is a couple hundred metres north of the bridge on the east side...from Google Street...

For those of you that aren't familiar with Willow Springs... http://www.willowspringsraceway.com/page.php?id=25

7 different layouts for cars, bikes, karts, dirt and paved ovals. Maybe that's why they included it and with any luck modeled each and every track!!

Their detail when modelling real-life locations is simply jaw-dropping. Nice find Mr. Penso :)

I'm still scratching my head though. PD usually includes photomode locations of towns they visited for other purposes (Ahrweiler got included because it was close to the Nordschleife, the Grand Tour special event also indicates this), so why Ronda? I mean, it looks like a beautiful town but why is it relevant to the car world? Maybe they were gathering data from a museum/garage/private collection nearby?

Something in my subconscious kept thinking "Ascari Race Resort..." while watching all this Spain-located content. Maybe because I've read the possibility of such thing in this forums before.

Anyways, I did a bit of Google-ing and found out what is most likely the reason why the PD crew visited Spain, more specifically Ronda:

Locations

Ascari is located in the heart of Andalusia, at the centre of the Serrania of Ronda, in the province of Malaga.

The track is 10 kilometres outside Ronda, and the following distances by car from these important places:

Ronda: 7 minutes.

I bet a leg that PD visited Ascari Race Resort. It's obvious. I'm not going as far as saying that they've included the track there (although it would be damn nice!) but most likely they were there to scan the cars kept there by the ultramillionaires that belong to the club. I see no other reason why Ronda would be included.
