Gran Turismo 6 E3 2013, General discussion(Live streaming links).

I think this could be gui for the demo that we are about to get, anyone think we will get this demo on PSN this week? Also what do you think the "GPS" function does?

"GPS" has the potential of importing real life GPS data into the course maker to recreate real life roads within the game. I say "potential" because it's not yet confirmed exactly how it works. Keep your fingers crossed.

The demo is next month - this is the E3 display booth build

I doubt that it will change much from how it looks currently, unless this build is already a few weeks old, because I can't see them dramatically changing it within 3 weeks.

Saturday release would be perfect from my perspective. Hit the 0001hr release then play all weekend!

Is the tutorial track Sachsenring?

Nope.

I remember around the time of GT5's release, there was talk of being able to import GPS telemetry from runs in a real car on a track, and then use that data as a ghost in GT5. That never materialized, but I'd guess that something similar is what they're planning for GT6.

That sound like it, I found this on another thread a few minutes ago, answered my question pretty well.

Those pictures of the car models on a white background look like they've been taken from a next gen engine to me......They look beyond what we're used to seeing for PS3 photomode cars in the smokey black environment.

It appears to be reflecting a landscape that has been removed....

Seems like they only changed the environment around the car to make it look more realistic.

Why place that on a troll video directed at Microsoft.. it even looked to be * big* fine print..

What are you talking about? The only troll video I saw from Sony was 'how to share a disc with your friend'. Sony is charging for multiplayer.

I think the car model pictures are actually taken in the 3D modeling program on a PC/Mac used to create them and not in a game at all. The lighting doesn't look like console lighting, it looks like what you see in a 3D program.

I don't think the textures are all finished, either. The Countach interior looks a little too plain/fake, I suspect that either there's more work to be done or that it'll look quite a bit different in the game's engine.

When the RX7 flips the suspension is bouncing like crazy, would it actually look like that? I would think the shocks would not allow that.

If you have an official source for this I would like to see it, not a single picture of an unconfirmed flyer.

I'm really not trying to be an ass - just asking.

That is the only official thing I have heard of with the 86 cars.

I know it has the potential, but a lot of people have been saying the same thing, I haven't seen any source I could trust.

Man some of the variations of Willow springs is going to be awesome for slower and smaller cars/karts

And it looks like we will be able to run off into the dirt by a fair amount, hopefully

But it is in the air? Isn't it?

The right side of the car is in the air, the left side is sliding along the ground until it hits a bump or something and that pushes the body up a bit, but not enough to make the tyre leave the ground.

I hope we will get some gameplay videos with new cars in TPP camera (so we can better see new suspension physics in action), and some replays.

Don't get your hopes up too high. They've only confirmed the main course so far. From gran-turismo.com:

Willow Springs International Raceway
This famous circuit in California is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, and is finally making an appearance in Gran Turismo. Willow Springs International Raceway is a circuit that is located in a hilly region just outside of Los Angeles. Of its many layouts, the course we are introducing at this time is the main course called “Big Willow”. At 2.5 miles per lap, it is known for its challenging high-speed corners and intense elevation changes that trace the hilly terrain.
