Uh, did they forget about the "sell car" button?
That depends on whether you forgot to read the article or the original announcement.
Changes that will come into effect beginning of April:

 ・Increased rewards for the latter half of the World Circuits events by approximately 100% on average;
 ・Addition of large rewards for clearing the Circuit Experiences with all Gold or Bronze results;
 ・Increased rewards for the online races;
 ・Addition of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have larger rewards;
 ・Increase the player's wallet upper limit of non-paid Credits from 20,000,000 to 100,000,000;
 ・Increase the quantity of Used and Legend Cars on offer at any given time.

Beyond this there will be a few additional Updates deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and course layouts, as well as implementing some other fixes.

Finally, we also want to take the opportunity to lay out some of the near-term Updates we are working on. We can’t confirm an exact date or specifics yet, but will give advance notice via www.gran-turismo.com:

 ・Increase the reward payout of limited-time events as we develop as a live service;
 ・Addition of more World Circuits events;
 ・Addition of more Endurance Races to Missions, including 24-hour races;
 ・Addition of online Time Trials with rewards based on the player’s position in the online rankings;
 ・Being able to sell cars.

But what would be enough? 3 races and a whole new mission was not enough. So what would be? Double that, triple, 10x more? If they add new events next week, which they probably won’t but we’ll see, the added events would be, imo, of good amount unless you’re playing 8h a day every single day. For those that can and want to play that much, there’s no way to make them happy. They just go through the content too quickly.

My jaw probably wouldn’t have dropped in disappointment if the update had brought 10 new circuit events as a minimum. Only three and all themed around WTC hardly scratches the surface of all the unused potential there currently is in GT7.

Let’s see what the “few additional patches” that are confirmed by the end of April will contain on top of cars and tracks - hopefully your understandable concern will have been rectified.

I’m going to speculate that the reason they don’t have the sell cars button yet still is because before the game came out PD never actually bothered to calculate or scale the selling prices properly for any of the cars, so now they have to take the time and make sure it actually makes sense before it’s implemented.

Or at least that’s the only way I can justify it in my head.

Finally support for Fanatec F1 wheels ❤️
I have a DD Pro wheel base and to my surprise it not only runs the GT7 wheel it came with and my Fanatec F1 wheel, but also my Nascar wheel I use for iRacing (no shifter though) and amazingly my McLaren GT3 wheel which is an xbox wheel. How excellent that I can use all 4 of my wheels on GT7/PS5.

You're... jaw-droppingly disappointed because PD only added three new WC races instead of 10, for an update in which it had not promised any at all?

G29 definitely didn't get any FFB love.
And confirmed that online qualifying is not counting kilometers.
Sad because I love accurate stats.

Love the amount of Cr I got by visiting 6 circuits that I completed in Circuit Experience.
So if you finished some/all CE, just visit them again and you'll get money - a lot of money!

I am stoked for this. They fixed/updated a lot. Some of ya'll need to check your expectations. This is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Can't wait to log on tonight and give her a go. I was just starting to get a little bored so now I am looking forward to playing again.

More than a month has passed since launch, and the general shortage of events in World Circuits has been one of the more eye-catching shortcomings of GT7, especially since we saw Jimmy Fallon playing a meatier version of the game post launch. What PD promised for this update doesn’t really change this, but seeing them add just three new events to World Circuits definitely highlights the issue once more. It’s something the can fix without much effort, but they chose not to.

Yes, that's all smashing, but the roadmap posted more than three weeks ago clearly stated that additional World Circuit events would be coming in updates later in April rather than the initial "beginning of April" update which was fixing payouts for existing events (and adding larger one-off prizes elsewhere).

Thus you should have been expected zero new events in this update. What we got was three new events. PD overdelivered on its promise for this update.

But you're so disappointed it wasn't ten events instead of three in the no-event update that your jaw has quite literally flopped open?

I don't really understand why you're experiencing such despair that there's a physical reaction to it... for getting more than the nothing you were supposed to get.

Probably has been asked and answered but perhaps somebody could tell me also the following:

What are the gift cars from the new missions?

Is something from the new lot of legends cars also counting for the legendary cars trophy?
I just need this last tropy to get the platinum one…
The new missions are 10 1-hour missions. You will have to wait at least 10 hours for someone to play through then, won't you?

The legendary cars are with 99% likelihood the XJ-13, the 330P4 and the Ford Mk IV. Since the Ferrari hasn't been available yet, the answer is probably no.

It's is nice when you wake up and see this kind of news!
Now I have lots of stuff to do. Will start with the circuit experience. Finished 3 tracks before the update. When they announced the prize increase in this, I decided to wait. Should have continued doing anyway xD

Fair enough. For me the added content, about 10h, is enough to keep me busy for 3/4 weeks. And this is on top of the single player content I haven’t completed, either because I have no interest or was waiting for better rewards to do them. But my focus is not the single player content so I can see how it could be insufficient for others.

opened my roulette ticket today and they updated it! now it swirls around a bit and you're more zoomed in! amazing!

....

...

I got 5,000 though, of course

I did this just after the update like 1 hour ago... I have been saving the wheelspins because I thought maybe they will "un-rig" them but well.........
If anything has actually changed then only for the worse! (I don't mean the animation, which is actually better than before...)
