Hi kensei,

I don't really get the logic between your 2 asserttions ; if you take the right to complain about Michael's behaviour, why Ralf could not do it also ?? Or did I miss something ?

Now for the guys who flamed webber, several things to notice :
1. Heidfeld overtook Alonso by suprised. Great move. It was clear then that Fernando, who is far from being stupid, was now aware of his weakness at this point of the track, and would brake the later he could, so things were harder for Weber then.
2. It's not easy to overtake at Monaco
3. You don't have an idea about weber's tire wear, they might be not as good as Heidfeld
4; F1 drivers are paid to overtake. Are you the same guys who complain about the fact that F1 does not provide a good show ? This race was nice, some drivers made it exciting, and Mark was among them.
5. If you think you can do better, well, send a mail to williams in order to gain a test !! :)

I don't intend to flame anybody, just say I think you were a bit unfair with a guy who did his best to earn the first podium of his season after some tough moments.

I agree. But, that move he made in Spain several weeks ago against Fisichella has been the most stupid move of the season. Maybe people are being a bit harsh because of what happened in the previous race? Should they forgive and forget so quickly?

Again, I agree with what you said, even though I'm a Renault fan.

Yes Mike, it's racing, do you not want people to try to pass, and to block and to do all the things that are part of racing, or do you think F1 should adopt Champ Cars no blocking policy, where drivers are not allowed to deviate from the racing line if they are being passed?!

Yes, Weber's move in Spain was rude ; how about Fisico in Malaysia when he crashed in Weber, trying to defend a lost position ? To me it was as stupid, and it costed points to weber.
As we're all fans and have our favorite drivers, it's difficult to be objective. A crash is generally not 100% fault of one contender. Accidents while overtaking are a part of this sport. An overtaking move can make you a hero or a zero, and the margin between the 2 is very tiny.
About Monaco race, I just though that Villeneuve's move was far more unappropriate than weber overtaking, that's all. (5 points lost for sauber, some drivers have been fired for less).

It was a joke. Ralph is known as a whiner....michael is known to be overaly aggressive at times....

possibly characteristics of the older/younger brotherhood. :P

Michael: "Hey Ralphie, want a hertz donut?"
Ralph: "Noooooooooooo!"

I'd love SPEED to split in two. A channel for NASCAR, ARCA, Monster trucks, AMA, Supercross, etc etc. and a second for European racings, F1, DTM, GP2, F3, WTCC, ALMS (I know it's a US series), FIA GT, BTCC, Moto GP, etc etc. . kensei, I couldnt agree more...Having moved over from Europe a year ago, I miss the DTM in particular. With Hakkinen doing a great job already this year (any one surprised....no? thought so...) we miss out on very very interesting races here in the US!

I do much prefer Speed's coverage of F1 over CBS. QUOTE] ?Another one I fully agree!

Other than that, extremely happy to see Nick doing fine, so much underrated, especially against Webber!! Nick was one of the most hopful drivers for many years for Mercedes, and he shows he still has got IT!

And can not believe Rubens is moaning about the clean overtake Michael did on him, while Rubinho thought he brings the races just home...reminded me of last year, when Rubens did exactly the same thing to Trulli in Magny Cours...and Trulli was let go early afterwards bei Renault/Briatore......

Poor Ralf...it seems that nobody likes him.... But I agree with you, Ralf is sometimes too aggressive when speaking, while Michael speaks often quietly and keeps his energy for the race....

Omnis, do you suffer from a whining little Brother ? Mine is so cool, I'm lucky. :)
