In that case they'll most likely email them to you. Or actually, it might be printed on the receipt when you pick up the game. I'm not sure how early gamestop sends out these emails. One could pre order from all the sites and then once you get the code, cancel the order.
In USA, what do you guys think is the best Pre-Order place? Which one did you guys choose?
For me its GameStop, because I will get the McLaren Tuned version, as well the Toyota NASCAR.
Anyone in USA can top the McLaren goodness?

So far from my experience (at least with the Phantom of Chaos costume for God Of War III), seemed like it was about a week or two before I got the code. But then again, this didn't happen with Tekken 6 when I got both an email as well as a Small paper in the box it came in with the pre-order code.

I was gonna preorder from gamestop anyway. The McLaren Stealth is just a sweet bonus (oh yeah and that Nascar car).

Lucky, working at Target...depends on how you define lucky. As for getting the game early, like anybody really cares? It's been 5 or 6 years in the waiting, do you think anybody is bothered about others getting the game slightly earlier? Besides, once you play it, that's it, the anticipation is over. Uhuh... Like my life is so pathetic that I'd even feel the need to be jealous over a game, let alone accuse somebody else of being that way. For a start, EU get the game one day later anyway, so how is my situation any different to somebody in the US getting the game 2 or 3 days, even a week earlier?
It's an interesting subject though, jealousy. I studied it a lot during psychology classes in my business studies. Those who go around accusing others of being jealous often do so because they are insecure and jealous in nature themselves. Those kinds of people are often in denial too.

I've still not heard back from Amazon.co.uk about getting the pre-order cars with the collector's edition. (Like I was discussing in this thread)
If they say they can't supply the codes for the DLC cars with the Collector's edition, i'm going to have to choose between the cars or the Apex Book. (I'm too honest, to order a standard version and send it back. plus I don't want the hassle, I just want to pre-order it and be done)
I could solve these problems simply by getting the Signature edition, then I get all of it. But £150, yeah right

I managed to speak to somebody at Play.com yesterday who actually sounded like they had a moderate amount of sense about them. She told me that only the standard version has the stealth codes, and that as far as she knows there are no plans to offer the codes with the CE. At the end of the day, your choice is only a matter of what you would prefer on day one. If you get the CE version, the bonus is you get the book, 5 nice cars, and some nice picture cards. I'm sure that people will sell stealth codes on eBay if you really wanted a particular model, and you will be able to download them all eventually anyway.
If you just get the standard version, sure you get a couple of stealth cars, but how else are you going to get the book? eBay again is an option, but the price might be a bit silly for the book on its own.
Personally, in that situation I'd buy the CE and rely on eBay and/or the eventual DLC pack for the stealth cars.

Overnight shipping from Gamestop!? awesome!
I preordered some PC sims through Amazon and they always want to charge extra for o/n or rush shipping. When I declined she shipping took 2 weeks! never again with amazon!
At that time I placed my GT5CE preorder iirc it did not say anything about the free cars so I hope I get those, too.
I had my suspicions this was the case but couldnt be certain without knowing if the ISP/IP address was the same. It wasnt very intelligent to create a new account a week after the temporary ban and then continue to post in the same immature style using excessive

Do any of you guys know what happened to amazon.co.uk's stealth cars? On the standard copy it did say that the two stealth cars were the Mazda 787B and the McLaren F1. But since it was announced that gran turismo would be coming to the rest of the world on November 3rd, it just says that it comes with 2 stealth cars. I'm hoping that it's the same two as before because those are the ones that I want. But I don't want to pre-order only to find out that they aren't those cars.
