GT5 Video From TGS!

Anyone notice how real the f1's sounded in the vid. Very impressive đź‘Ť
Alsoo, the sense of speed in the cars looked a lot ore realistic.
Yeah! i agree. That video looked awesome :dopey:
MAN, who knows what we can expect from GT5 with the PS3!

nitro, gametrailers had a new trailer, one that they showed at TGS 2005 (as opposed to the E3 2005 trailer we've all already seen), but the assholes have taken it down.

SOMEONE PLEASE REHOST!

same here actually... I have no idea what video everyone is talking about... the link i downloaded doesn't show much, even bugs actually.

am i missing on something?

oh and someone mentioned 'cockpit view'... that for real? that'be awesome.

Also, curious... anyone plan on attending E3 in 2006? I'm pretty sure GT5 will have a peak there next year. Probably not as a playable version, but a PS3/GT5 version anyways.

Theres an extended vid out there somewhere, the cut down one ends as the cars exit the Monaco tunnel, the extended video carries on.

Yeah, I found an extraordinarily crappy version of said extended trailer.

Not even worth it.

The Gametrailers trailer was extended and was in fairly good quality, akin to the ruliweb trailer.

SOMEONE PLEASE REHOST!

nitro_2005
i've already seen that one...where is the trailer in relation to the pit-crew picture on the previous page, because that isn't it.
Really? I never saw that one. I gotta go look for it...

well i've been looking and looking and looking and i can't find any version of the "ruliweb_gt4.wmv" video that's longer then 1.22 minute. So i presume this is the longest video that was leaked on the net?

Grr

I'll have a look if I've still got it on my pc when I get home and upload it to yousendit.com if I have. It's the same vid but it just carries on for a little bit after the Monaco tunnel.

beacuse these clips are the actual GT4, it was supposed to come out on the PS3 but they decided to bring it out on the PS2 beacsue we couldn't wait! (by the way, this is just what i heard!)

RedOak
oh that'd be real nice Live, if its not too much trouble :D
Unfortunately I don't appear to have that vid anymore. I checked on my external USB HDD as well but I must have deleted it.

Downloading a video with eMule, and it seems it is 23,8 mb large.
Hopefully it is the large one!

Name says GameSpot.

Promising! XD

Edit: BTW,does anyone know if (from Rudi's video) the end song, which is Moon Over The Castle, which remix is it? Sounds pretty awesome, and it's not the Orchestra version. Hope someone knows it :nervous:

I think anyone with a brain can figure out that is NO WAY GT5 yet. I was impressed with the opening shots and the pit crew, and lots of cars, and that was it. Everything breathed GT4 all over it.

Come guys, it's been around 6 months since GT4's release and they were exhausted. They first released the VGT video for E3 because they needed to hype Sony's PS3 and build a fan base. They had no time. Now, they're just trying to show a few things and build a bigger fan base over the next 2 years.

No one has had time to recreate an entire track using a new dynamic lighting engine, new physics, etc. The amount of programming and texture work is insane. They're still experimenting with PS3 hardware. If you think about it, motion capturing pit crews is damn easy considering you don't need a PS3 to do it. The beginning renders on the video also are probably experimental shots with new lighting, and may have wanted to get a crowd reaction. I'm sure they're close to falling into a permanent path of what lighting and physics to use, but other than that...everything is still experimental.

We will most likely see some real, hardcore footage of EVERYTHING GT5 at next year's E3. No old GT4 cars, tracks, anything. All scratch, all new.

The first two cars, the Evo 9 and RX7 are GT5, the rest is GT4's models but with more cars, thats why the vid isn't called GT5, it's still Vision GT. Kaz himself has said thoes first two cars are the quality we'll see in GT5.
