you know it's time to stop playing a game when ducks start farting inside your head...Damit! Now I have ducks farting in my head when I play! Arg! As if all the other spot on references weren't enough...

Just mentioned this in another thread, hope this will finally be the wake up call PD needs.2nd week USA numbers are so awful even Im surprised
Just 63,000 week 2 , dropping to 25th
39.99 will probably be permanent price soon
They will absolutely blame the PS4, rather than accept that so many people don't want V5.5.Just mentioned this in another thread, hope this will finally be the wake up call PD needs.
On the other hand they could play ignorant also; and blame it on the PS4 being released already...

Yet it still managed to sell more copies than any other driving game.
Perhaps they ran out of stock. Selling 240,000 the previous week could easily clear the shelves.
Digital version numbers would be interesting to see.
Where are the figures for this coming from - I'm not seeing anything more recent than December 7th still.8,000 more copies then Mario Kart 7 which is in 106th week. 11,000 more then Forza 5 which has a USA install base of around 1 million. Not very impressive.

Thanks, but that's still two weeks out of date...and just the US...
Or perhaps I'm not the only one voting with my wallet?
yes that's correct, but it wasn't a comprehension test'Voting with your wallet' is a figure of speech that can be applied to every game you have, or have not purchased.
The only way that reply makes sense is if you bought the game - ergo: empty shelves because you and all those other people voted with your wallet.Or perhaps I'm not the only one voting with my wallet?
That was meant to be funny no?The only way that reply makes sense is if you bought the game - ergo: empty shelves because you and all those other people voted with your wallet.
Not necessarily - plenty of people buy a game because they have heard of it but don't necessarily research it - quite a few GOTYs out there on the second hand shelves. Not because they are bad games, just not suited to those that sold them on.That was meant to be funny no?
Actually what interests me is how many GT6 copies are available in the second hand shelve already. I think that would be the best indicator towards it's popularity, as the sales figures consist of a lot of impulse buyers who will probably regret it later on, when they realize they are bored with the game after a week.
Well you have that dude on amazon that tought it was a "tourism game" , but in general people that buy GT brand new are the ones that know GT's history and are looking for a good racing game. So i think the second half shelve would be filled more with copies from people being disappointed with the franchise, than the ones that don't have a clue what they just spend 60 bucks on.Not necessarily - plenty of people buy a game because they have heard of it but don't necessarily research it - quite a few GOTYs out there on the second hand shelves. This might be true for new franchises, or semi-unkown but well made games. Not necessarily - plenty of people buy a game because they have heard of it but don't necessarily research it - quite a few GOTYs out there on the second hand shelves. WHat other driving games? You mean forza? The game that needed a $500 system to be purchased along with it?Yet it still managed to sell more copies than any other driving game.
Racing games sell poorly in the US anyway. They don't carry heavy advertising like Call of Duty.2nd week USA numbers are so awful even Im surprised

All this says is that people are missing out on a good game.
Or maybe they just wait to get it when it's out of beta.
In sorry but the beta arguments is played out.
