What I do is hit the Share Button once and that brings up a menu as seen here.Stupid unrelated question. Got the PS5 last week and for the love of all things holy i cannot get my head around the playback recording. On PS4, i'd watch my replay within GT7, hitting the share button twice to begin recording and twice at the end. This worked just fine. I do the same on PS5 and I see the little tick top right corner to indicate recording has begun and again that it has ended, but without fail it records for a full hour, so my actual gameplay not the GT7 replay. What in the flying fadoo am I doing wrong and why is sharing on the PS5 so damn confusing?
Hit record and a recording timer will be at the top of the screen then play the replay. When the replay is over I hit the share button again that will bring an option to stop recording. There is also an option to change your recording settings on the far right of the menu.
I haven't had much time to race this week with the Thanksgiving holiday taking up much of my time. But, I do have today off from work and decided to do some racing. I did manage to get 2 other races in what little time I had to relax and had favorable results with a P4 and a P3. Today however, I was the in the collateral damage with others running into others entering turn 3 and pin balling everywhere. I got spun and hit the wall for a lovely 1.5 second penalty. On the last lap I was the victim of a revenge punt gone wrong. The person who hit me completely missed their target and sent me flying. Absolutely stupid I get the worst of some angry driver. The next race I go off track and fall to the back. I climb my way back to P9 but get into the back of P8 and send them flying. I get a 4 second penalty and I let them pass me on the last lap as that was the only thing I could do after my mistake. The last race I was on pole, but I go off track and try as I might, I could not reclaim the lead. I had a nice clean race with P1 at least so that made up for the previous two disaster races.
Even with my struggles, I had a great time racing this week. I did get my qualifying time down to a 1:29.7XX which put me in the top half of the starts each race. As usual, RBR is one of my stronger tracks and the results were overall positive. I did have a problem with me getting into the back of other drivers. I don't know why, but I was compensating for slipstream and I would back off the throttle if I was too close. I've never had as much of a problem as I did this week. It's not like I never do, but not as much as this week. As a result, I dropped to an "A" SR which I don't even know when my SR wasn't "S".
