I learnt from the best, as they say .Yeah Nebu needs to slow down

It's funny because it's true. I was consistently near the top of my friends list, until these other jokers barged in. Makes me regret friending them! (Not really.)I need some losers to friend me so I don't feel so bad about my mediocre QT times.
I've been consistently BSing most of my life. Er, maybe that's not what you were referring to...hey,I,m 68 and consistently B/S-just can`t remember jokes like I used to......
lol-the stats don`t lie.I've been consistently BSing most of my life. Er, maybe that's not what you were referring to...
Yeah that was me. You said that you meant to qualify and not run races. The pattern fits my experience as well. I think at the beginning of the week everyone is trying to figure things out and quali times are still slow. The week progresses and people get better so I do worse. But on the weekend many more people are playing so there are more people closely matched to me and I do ok again. And on Sunday a lot of people are getting their first laps of the week in, and I do well again.
This happened to me with a certain YT personality at Autopolis a couple months ago and he was very rude in his assessment of how I drove around the corner in a line of cars on lap 1 and “turned into him” as he dove into the midst of the line. Just garbage, and he’s promoting this type of behavior.
Clearly it’s an open invitation to treat him like he’s AI!!!
Did I have a couple races with you this morning? Is this your racing ID as well?
Just got myself a 1:49.49 with the Ford GT’18. I shared my QT.

I’m really surprised you all haven’t been on Race C QT yet as I’m never in the lead in my friends group!
Saying that; stay away! Let me have my glory for a bit.
Yes next week! This week? Stay away speed racer..Spent a bit of time on GV last night and I have finally worked it out. Got QT down to a 1:47.3xx with optimal at 46.9xx. 2 wins and a 2nd in 3 top splits running 47/48s in race. The RSR is such a good car here.
For those who haven’t run a race there yet, do yourself a favour and try at least one just for the sunset on lap 8 as you come down through the esses. It is breathtaking,
Perhaps I’ll send you a friend request next week.
My fastest is in the Ford. I’ll have to give the McLaren a try but I’m a little tipsy right now so my QT times are a little off. Lol.Down to 1:50 flat in VR. The Suzuki on GV in VR is....man lol. Feels like California. Too bad I hate the car. Fastest lap is still only 1:49.6 but will try to beat it in VR. The 911 feels the most planted here but the newly buffed McLaren also feels good. The GT is amazing on the laps it doesn't want to put me in the Pacific Ocean.
I need some losers to friend me so I don't feel so bad about my mediocre QT times. Though now no one will "friend" me as then they'll admit to being a loser!
If you no longer go for a gap that does NOT exist, then you are no longer a SIM-racing driver? The misinterpretation of the Senna quote has a lot to answer for.
This is so true. Especially in the short races like we had last week on Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. A 4 lap race with Gr. 3 cars... The best races in my opinion are the ones with a length of, let's say, a minimum of 18 minutes.Think it is also the nature of the Dailys; you only have a few laps to gain positions so people do whatever possible to get in front of another car. You see it less in the World Series, especially in the longer races. People seem to be a bit more patient there and it is more about strategy. You have some idiot rammers there, but pretty sure much fewer then in the dailys.
You too?Anyone else having trouble during the actual TM race? I keep making mistake after mistake, and it's pathetic. I'm almost afraid to keep doing the race.

It took me awhile to understand that seemingly simple sentence. It didn't initially click that you were talking about age - I was thinking it was a reference to my "Anyone having trouble" question, so I was trying to figure out if that meant you had 59 seconds of penalties in 12 races, or something like that. Once I figured it out, which really only took a few seconds, it just made me laugh for some reason.59 in 12 days here.
Been having fun at C. Haven't run TM. But I ought to try it, now they actually made an effort to change Gr4It took me awhile to understand that seemingly simple sentence. Anyway, early happy birthday.
Try the Lambo. Set brake balance to -1 or 2Down to 1:50 flat in VR. The Suzuki on GV in VR is....man lol. Feels like California. Too bad I hate the car. You were in just about every race with me at Dragon Trail Gardens a couple weeks ago.Hello... long time reader here. Since I have raced in lobbies with nearly all of the NA members, I thought I should say hi! I am going to drag the average age up a tick - 61 here. I am mid-to-high B racer, depending on the week; had A for a couple weeks, and lost it; ehh. Almost always SR.S (except for monza week!). I enjoy hearing the different perspectives here, see you out there.
I have a 49.2 in the GTR with +2 brake bias. I can't beat that with anything else, and I think I probably have another couple tenths I could get.Down to 1:50 flat in VR. That happened in one of my lobbies. Most answers were in the 40s and 50s. Perhaps the youngsters lie about their age or they’ve gone bed by the time I play…A while back someone asked, in pre-race chat, what everyone’s age is. Quite a few responded and IIRC, most of the responses were 30’s and 40’s. It kinda makes sense because of the generation of gamers growing up on the GT series.
I’m in my early 40’s for reference.
A 59.1 is plenty competitive for Race B, top half of A rooms (second split). No races yesterday, i was simply worn out after work. One of the downsides to the wheel lol
I did run some qt laps at A and B, but was definitely off pace. I couldn't beat my previous A time which i know i should easily beat. I also could only manage a 1.59.1 (?) For B. Ran the moostang as i can't drive fwd cars fast. The replay is shared, but it just didn't feel like i ever got a good feel for the lap. Being on mediums is messing with me tbh lol i should absolutely be able to hit a 58.xxx no time for C, that's tonight, i hope
The Ford from the first hairpin through the first bridge is an adventure lol. Like trying to walk a rabid Rottweiler. My fastest is in the Ford. I’ll have to give the McLaren a try but I’m a little tipsy right now so my QT times are a little off. Lol.
@TheOneDonJuan I see you beat my time. I knew it would not last. Lol. The McLaren is pretty impressive in the cornering. I’m able to lap consistently in the low 50s but I was unable to break into the 49s. While I still think the Ford is faster, the McLaren might just be more drivable in a race. With the server update do was unable to test that out tonight.
👏👏👏👏The Ford from the first hairpin through the first bridge is an adventure lol. Like trying to walk a rabid Rottweiler.
