Yeah I use my Mezes Classics overears plugged into ps5 controller. Just about fit, but fit fine.Thx to this forum I gave my Bose headphones another try instead of the supplied ones. Much more fun indeed, somehow I thought its uncomfortable but it is not. Obv a bit annoying to have a controller next to the rig and a cable for the headphones.
Anyone here using a bluetooth adapter? Is that a good solution?
I bought a controller holder (£8.40 from Amazon) and bolted it to my rig next to my wheel. I then ran the controller power cable up the rig so that I don't ever have to worry about charging it. From there, the headset reaches my head just fine. It also means that the controller buttons are accessible if I need them, plus I can disconnect the controller power cable if I ever need to use it in the traditional way.Thx to this forum I gave my Bose headphones another try instead of the supplied ones. I don't know what they have or haven't done in terms of image quality, but something has definitely changed when it comes to the draw distance. There's always some amount of placebo posts after any update, I wouldn't be surprised if it's happening here too, especially since these improvements can come from just positioning the headset a bit better.
It's placebo. Everytime there is a software or hardware update, some people claim they're seeing improvements but it's never the case. This latest update was for the dualsense controller.I don't know what they have or haven't done in terms of image quality, but something has definitely changed when it comes to the draw distance.
I especially noticed it while driving on Circuit de la Sarthe. On the Mulsanne Straight I can now spot the corners and other cars way, way before I used to.
agree. Also more pop-in and sharper visuals when focussed. Seems like the foveated rendering implementation has been improvedI don't know what they have or haven't done in terms of image quality, but something has definitely changed when it comes to the draw distance.

The 'draw distance' will depend upon everything else going on in the scene at the time, and on the speed you are driving. If there is rain or mist or a full pack of cars ahead of you, or if you are travelling very fast, all this will add to the processing demand and slow the draw response. And vice versa. I'm not saying you're wrong, only that what you've noticed is a long way from a reproducible test.I especially noticed it while driving on Circuit de la Sarthe. Do you think it could be system optimizations allowing psvr 2 to clean up the double imaging/reprojection issues? I thought the reprojection was better yesterday, then a bit of a double image was back this morning, but I’d been watching ESPN+, and peacock, and they are crashy pita’s. So, reboot, and it cleaned up a bit.Nah. There was a software update for the PS5, a firmware update for the controller AND a firmware update for PSVR2.
I also think I see improvements. Wouldn’t bet my life on it, but maybe the announced improvements to reprojection (I believe that was back in January?) were part of this last update.
To me the image seems more solid and I do see less reprojection ghosting.
Who knows. It’s not important either way.
Is it normal to have to create a new play area every time you play another game when not sitting at the wheel?
I want a multi directional treadmill for that thing so bad. It would fix so many issues overnight. I guess it’s a tough nut to crack as the only one ive seen offered is from a company called omni and its bundled for pc.Yeah. Very annoying.
I dont mind resetting …played some new games over the weekend. Actually wish the headset cable was a little bit longer
I have it and use it. Two Thumbs Up.Limited-time deal: AINOPE [2M/6.6FT] USB C Extension Cable [USB 3.2/10Gbps] Sync Transfer Extender Nylon Braided 100W/5A Fast Charging Compatible with USB C Hub/Dell XPS/MacBook/iPad Pro/Magsafe Charger(Black)
Eta: it will work with fanatec too.
Thanks for the reminder. 😅 Finally bought one instead of looking for 10 minutes, getting distracted, and buying three unrelated things, forgetting to buy the cord every single time.Limited-time deal: AINOPE [2M/6.6FT] USB C Extension Cable [USB 3.2/10Gbps] Sync Transfer Extender Nylon Braided 100W/5A Fast Charging Compatible with USB C Hub/Dell XPS/MacBook/iPad Pro/Magsafe Charger(Black)

I had motion sickness two weeks, after that period it was gone and never came back.Yep, agree. It's amazing, I mean even showroom and going around cars. I drove Renault Turbo 5 on Nord at night and wow, that orange dash glowing in your face, those yellow headlights slowly unraveling next turn... Sadly, couldn't play more than 15 minutes (tried pills, started slow and easy, got fan blowing, etc.), so I've send it back :s
Watching replays in VR made me nauseous because of the ghosting when it 1st debuted. I can somewhat watch them now, that made me believe there was an improvement made.Nah. There was a software update for the PS5, a firmware update for the controller AND a firmware update for PSVR2.

I'm grinding now flat 2d convinient from bed on oled tv and wish this stupid grinding phase were over. Still 38 milions to get... I really hate it, so boring.
I'm using the same wheel and VR2 and never had any issue with the PS button, but I dont understand using this button to change tyres... What it would do is put you on a two different PS menus outside GT7 depending on how you press it, the menu at the bottom screen if you press it briefly or the top screen menu if you press and hold. It wouldn't give you a menu inside GT7.Loving my Logitech G Pro wheel, and couldn't wait to try it with my VR2 headset, but something really weird happened today that has not occurred before.
I race GT7 on my PS5 with a VR2 headset. Whilst wearing the headset I pressed the main PS button (just below wheel center) to try and access options out of GT7. Nada.
I turned the PS off, and on again. I turned the wheel on and off again. I disconnected the VR2 cable and reconnected it.
Oddly, when I lifted the headset above my brow, and could see my monitor, the PS button would function normally. IOW, it was only when I lowered the headset to cover my eyes and drive that the conflict occurred.
I WAS able to use the controller's PS button as per normal, but if I want to change tyres at the start of a race (for instance, I wanted to for Le Mans today) I'd want to use the wheel PS button.
Any ideas why it would not be working? Is there a (known) conflict between VR2 and the Logitech G Pro wheel?
Thanks for your help. To clarify my confusing post, I was pressing the PS button and getting NIL response. Not an issue with changing tyres, as you pointed out, but if I want to access the top or bottom screens of the console I'd have no luck at all.I'm using the same wheel and VR2 and never had any issue with the PS button, but I dont understand using this button to change tyres... You are able to change tyres after qualifying through the normal GT7 menu when at the boxes before the race.
I am Having an issue. While playing, the camera start to slide behind or on the side like i am moving the head but i am not and all the time i am forced to recenter and re calibrate my position. Is it happening to someone else? Never done before. Just now after this update.
It is, without doubt, the future. While VR has been out for years, I think this is the first racing game to fully show its potential, and I think it will start to snowball. On the pc side vr have a firm foothold for simracing. Its a total gamechanger.
