My GT on Xbox is TurtleFartz. Looking for a CLEAN Karin Rebel that has the Crawler style front bumper. Willing to pay up tp 10k. Let me know. OR if not that then some one who is rank 35 or higher.

Ok here is how I get this truck to Spawn.

I fly over to the cove marked in the map. Just south of the rocky area north of the outlet is a beach. At night sometimes day the Sandking SWB and Rebel Clean spawn here.

If no Rebel. I get in whatever and drive the trail back to the highway marked in red and drive around to Sandy Shores. Grab another Heli and repeat till it spawns. I got one with no brush guard and KC lights in the bed bar. Debating if I like it better then the one with brush guard and no KC lights.

Let me know how it works.

Kind of pissed right now, trying to climb something in my Off Road Mesa which it should be able to climb, but because of the lame 4WD or lack there of it won't make it. :grumpy:

Found another one. Might go on the map as an Extreme trail. I made it up but with more scraping sounds coming out of my speakers than I normally allow for.

I'm in possession of a Rat Loader. If anyone needs one FR me at OwensRacing. Be in it till about 12:30 AM EST. Then letting it go.

A good way to test if a car has 4WD is to slowly drive it up against a telephone pole or a non-breakable object. Next, hold the e-brake and fully rev the engine. Let go of the e-brake. If the front wheels spin, it's 4WD. It's a much quicker way of testing out the drivetrain of a car rather than parking on a hill and full-throttling it.

Took a massive spill down Mt. Chiliad today... again. I grabbed another Mesa Off-Road so I can start testing different setups. I want to find out if R1600 is right about too much acceleration with turbo and race transmission. I'm going to unlock stage 4 engine upgrade and keep the new one NA. So far I've gotten about eight players on Xbox interested in trail riding. Maybe I can organize a ride this weekend.

I'm on Xbox. I'd be happy to take you out and grab one. I can also get you the Canis Mesa Off-Road. I'll shoot you a message on Live. 👍

If you've allready got one and just helping a friend with the mission, the Off Road Mesa is worth a lot at LS Customs. I got over $13k for an extra one I had. That makes that mission a very good pay-out. :D

I took a stock Mesa Off-Road with no damage to LS Customs today and the sell option was $8,000. Did you have any mods on the one you sold? Maybe they lowered the price.

Has anyone tried the short wheelbase version of the sand king its a lot better than a long wheelbase for general off roading

I guess in a perfect world it would be lighter with a tighter turning radius. I haven't tried one one a difficult trail. Went with a buddy yesterday who was driving an XL. He had trouble. Part of it may have been the driver. ;)

I had two of them while I was at a very low level, when I finally sold one I didn't think I had modded it, but I must have been mistaken. Apologies for the misinformation.

Even selling it at 9k, it makes that mission a great payer. If four people are in, only one of you need to fly the plane, the others can steal and sell a Mesa each, making the total pay $19k. Do the mission twice and everyone makes a minimum of $29k. Without spoiling the mission, if you've done it a couple times, it's a pretty simple one to develop a pattern with.

The only thing that sucks with a Sandking SWB is that it only seats 2 persons, right?

I usually include others when I drive one.

This is why I like my Evoque better.... I told you, but you didn't believe me...

While I completely agree about Rockstar using a poor 4wd model, I still have more fun driving around the Off Road Mesa over any other car. Putting that roll cage to work is way too much fun. The Sandking would also be in my top 5 favorites. I think the way those two react with their tall suspension just makes them fun.

Lol, hadn't noticed that there was a swb available. Oh well, something to look forward to once I have a garage.

I am now a fan of the Range Rover. This thing handles steep grades amazingly, and seems to have proper 4 wheel drive.

And even though the Sandking sucks for crawling,

I still love this truck

Yes the Range Rover is very good offroad. Once I get a 10 stall garage, I will be putting one of those in there for sure.

There is also a "Porsche Cayenne" look alike that's very amazing offroad. Not to be confused with the "Infiniti FX. (Now QX70)" look alike.

The Baller and Baller Type 2 are both amazing. They have decent suspension flex. And have a great 4WD System. Better then the Mesa.

I wish I could find that "Porsche Cayenne" look alike. Only seen a few of those in the game. Cant remember the name of it. If you see one can you get a picture and find out the name of that vehicle?
