Yep you can change 1st-6th gear, just not the max speed setting, 7th gear, and the final gear.

Not quite... I would never be able to qualify and I would have to rush home, turn everything on as quick as possible to make the start. I just want to try to make Indy.
 
I'll do what I did last week and host a practice room on Thursday night from around 7-8pm onwards 👍

The platform, Simraceway looks of a similar graphical quality to iRacing. So unless you have a computer from 5 years ago, you should be fine.
 
My laptop was already bad and outdated when I was given it for christmas 2007. I'm still using it. It struggles with basic flash games.
 
I think you guys could upgrade to a 300 pound PC tower which would run the Simraceway software, unless they improve the graphics immensely. It's a sure buy for me, an IndyCar simulation is just going to be amazing.

Fair play, although if you consider PCARS a sim you'll be spending a lot more than if you think it isn't :lol: It's the only sim racer that has particularly good graphics, iRacing for example is just very detailed, not graphically taxing for your PC.

Anyway, everybody looking good for Friday night's race?

Would love to, but won't join for 2 reasons.

1. I don't actually have the game.
2. I require full traction control or I spin everywhere (F1 2010) (even then I still spin fairly often on certain corners). I don't have a wheel, and the throttle is either at 100% or 0% on a controller, no matter how gently I press it. It's probably because I use X and [] for throttle and brake, but I just can't drive well on any racing game using other buttons (right stick, L2 and R2).
 
No wheel Joe? You surprise me there mate. We had a run around last night and it is HARD but awesome having 24 cars on track :D
 
If a seat is definitely open, I wouldn't mind racing in the Brickyard 200. I would prefer to drive my yellow/black FGT, if possible. I'll have to check and see which other colors I have.

Aw damn.

I was originally supposed to be testing out specifications with Furi for the TOCA Asia series you may have seen knocking around on the forum (Basically a midweek TOCA with Japanese tracks/cars) on Tuesday. But we were both ill so we rescheduled the test session for tonight.

So in other words, I can't really host a practice tonight. Sorry gents 👎
 
I should be okay for tomorrow, but my connection may not hold up.. It was too weak for the V8's on Monday so we can only wait and see. If I do happen to be laggy I will quit for the benefit of everyone else.
