I have come to the conclusion that I will not be running this series. I like the way Tom runs his series, but I do not agree with the tire choices for road course one bit. I'm sorry guys.

Seriously man? The difference between FGT's on comfort and racing tyres really isn't that large, it just makes it slightly more challenging. And these aren't F1 cars, they shouldn't have an infinite amount of grip, you have to treat them with a bit of respect.

They surprisingly have alot of grip once warmed up, with the right setup.

I do I just hate CH. Anything Is ok Mediums are great CH feel Like I'm on Ice.

Well, alter your race strategy so you spend the minimum amount of time on them. They have similar grip to the medium compound, they just take a few laps to warm up.

I would need a setup that suits me. Anyone wanna help?

Search around GTPlanet and try some different ones mate, that's what I did last season. If you want to make the car stable you have to use high aero and higher LSD settings, that's just a vague pointer for you.

I know. In which greatly helps because it slows the car down dramatically.

Well obviously not 60/60/60, do some tweaking like Smuffy said and try and find a reasonably happy medium between speed and ease of driving. As long as you can do 1:22/23 with the setup you're fine.

Try some setups, race with us tonight and see how it goes 👍

Well try an see what happens. Lets see if I can more than 2 laps without throwing in a wall. .

May sound stupid but don't push the car on hards until you've banked a good number of laps, that compound takes a long time to get up to temperature.

EDIT: So tonight we're missing Pagey, Matty, Smuffy, Karl and Akmuq? Not gonna be a great turnout tonight then, less than 10 probably. But I'm certain that Ak, Smuffy & Pagey will be back next week at least.

Ok. I'm happy now. Have successfully run 15 laps without incidents. I was just pushing cold tires to hard. I can now see why you guys were so fast. Best lap ended up being 1:22.184 and was .590 ahead coming out of parabolica and dropped a tire.. I'm golden now.

Knew you would be 👍

Yeah once they warm up they become similar to the mediums, just with a little more oversteer in some corners and a bit more understeer in others. Having traction control on 1 makes some slides/drifts saveable.

Is Brett able to make the race Tom?

We'll need to decide what to do about cautions if he can't.

Yeah, Brett is doing safety car tonight. But like I mentioned, if he gets his job, it's amazing news for Brett, but we're screwed because Rich has hung us out to dry; he's basically said he's not doing it.

Any ideas on a replacement?

Just asked not interested. On a side note, I actually find something that works for me putting in reach of being fast. Currently I finding more speed through parabolica, and escari. CH+120pmh+Lesmos 2= In the Sand.

I may have the room up 15 minutes early for some extra 'shakedown' time since I've got little else to do.
