Thats good to hear Tom. I still have some tuning to do. I have set what i consider a fast lap at Monza considering i'm carry over 120 through the Lesmos.

How long, roughly are these races?

They tend to last around an hour. Obviously the Indy 500 is an exception.

It's very easy to find time at Monza I think, as long as you have the guts to throw your car through the turns you can be very quick.

Pagey vs Joe.....what a cool prospect :D

My money is on Joe for the first race and then.....who knows :D

I have oval experience in this series, but Pagey is faster on all non-ovals. Monza should be close though since there will be a lot of drafting on the straights. I may have to settle for a slightly slower setup to make the car easier to control.

For the Indy 500 length bet: a race with no cautions will be 2:20, so I reckon it'll be closer to 2:45. (add 5 minutes to 2:20 for each caution). I'll say 2:45 as my guess.

Fastfox: I don't think you'd have found this setup.

We won't get to find out who will win between us this Friday at least. Looks like I'm out of the pre-seasonal, a friend is moving away on Saturday so going out for on a pub crawl on Friday.

Well that makes things easier.

Also I'm surprised how similar the grip of comfort hards is to comfort mediums at Monza. Only real difference is that the hards take longer to heat up and are more prone to understeer.

May open a practice room tomorrow night as i've done all the work I had piled up, providing I don't get anymore tomorrow.

8ish?

Sounds good. I should be there.

The question is whether I should reveal my true pace in the practice or not...

Going to stay off tonight, but will be at the practice tomorrow.

Just had stuff going on here, keeping me off GT all week.

Sorry I just randomly left but the power went out.. Power company is replacing a transformer.

No worries mate.

New rule in the OP: You're allowed one blocking move to defend your line into a corner, anymore than that will be penalised.

Also weight on street and road courses is now 720kg.

EDIT: Target car #1 is washed, tuned, oil changed and ready to go for tomorrow night :D

As are Penske 👍

Lotus/HVM only entry this week is ready. I was finally able to get a handle on it.

Rich can't do safety car for us, I did worry originally about this. We'll have to see whether Brett gets his job or not and if so we'll need somebody else.

Suggestions?

EDIT: Also some exciting news; it's probably common knowledge that for S3 'we' are working on an Indy Lights series to support IndyCar. But i'm also planning support events for two of the biggest races on the calendar, rounds 7 & 8. The events will run a couple of hours prior to the main IndyCar event and will be run on the road course versions of the tracks IndyCar are racing at for R7/8, Indy and Daytona.
