I think you should leave it to the votes you asked for personally.

If I get time tonight I'll put a review in if you want. I'll let you know later.

For next season, I'm strongly considering replacing Monza with Indy Road, so we can avoid all this corner-cutting crap. Thoughts?

100%. That's a great idea. Monza seems to have caused havoc this time round :ouch:

I did. :)

I assigned 5 points for a 1st place vote, 4 points for a 2nd place vote, etc. HSR ran away as number 1. Suzuka East is the clear number two, and Monza and Indy Road tied for the number 3 most requested track.

That would be great. Take any car (or more :)) from 6th to 14th that isn't an HMS car.

Just PM me the lap number and corner name if it's a clear cut. It helps to watch in Chase cam, and pause as the car hits the apex in both turns in the Chicane, and the apex in all three turns in Ascari. Use photomode to look around and determine if the car is in or out. If you feel the car is borderline, ignore it.

I did not count any cuts on lap 2 when the big pack was still together, or when two cars were side-by-side in the chicane or Ascari. Leaving room for another driver takes precedence in these cases.

Well I didt drive any differently then what I did in nationwide hours earlier, so thats me screwed

Can make a bit of a start now. Pm me with who you would like me to check.

Two wheels on Tarmac at all times? Does this go for Kerb de Grande, Lesmo 2 and Ascari?

👍

I believe the rule is:

Two wheels on track at all time, curbs do not count as track. Run offs are allowed.

You could start on me if you want Knelly :)

Correct, the outside two tires must remain on black pavement at all times when cornering. They must not cut inside the inner edge of any turn.

This is as close as illegal gets. If a car's outside tires are both closer to the black pavement than the rear tire pictured above, they are legal. Both tires need to be on the black though, not just one.

It is perfectly acceptable to run wide exiting a corner into a straightaway (see exit, Ascari)

I've had my run verified by Niop and Knelly. Both of them recorded two cuts. Knelly specificed that they were on 11-A3 and 19-C1. They both also confirmed that I was slow as hell.

Tentative order:

1. Spurgy - 32 cuts (verified by Drop)
2. Niop (+30.495 seconds) - 3 cuts (drop)
3. gokartman (+40.350) - 30 cuts (drop)
4. neljack (+48.115) - 26 cuts (niop)
5. Matty (+51.820) - 9 cuts (niop)
6. smuffy (+75.139) - 24 cuts (Niop)
7. Furi (+75.476) - 24 cuts (Niop)
8. Carb (+75.546) - 16 cuts (Niop)
9. RPH (+90.375) - 26 cuts (Niop)
10. TomMcD (+94.711) - 11 cuts (drop)
11. Knelly (+96.485) - 7 cuts (drop)
12. Mule (+148.000) - 19 cuts (Niop)
13. Drop (+168.000) - 2 cuts (Niop and Knelly)
14. ACDC (+193.000) - 10 cuts (drop)

Feel free to verify my run someone, I know I did cut the chicane completely twice but I did what I have done in previous seasons and backed right out the gas as soon as it happened.

I did this at least once (maybe twice) as well.

Furi, I've let Drop know that I won't be watching yours back, due to our recent history, and didn't want to prejudice either of our positions 👍

Understandable, If I do watch any runs I won't watch yours. And I did check back the replay from the start, indeed you did get screwed up by GT5 grass physics...

..just next time make sure someone else other than me is alongside you :P

Again, sorry dude. I am sure we will forever be in each others way

Indeed :mischievous: This is like our own little personal war here... hey, every NASCAR related series has to have a heated rivalry right  ? It's only thing this league was missing

For a minute I thought '+94' meant you'd added 94 penalty seconds onto my time, Drop. I'm an idiot

Wait, Kyle Busch fan (Knelly) and Tony Stewart (me) getting together on track? Has that not happened before?

Yeah, a few times in S3 I believe.

you were top 5 mate, i don't think im senior enough to do that :(

Sure you are, just count :) Shouldn't be too high.

The more I race on Indy Road, the more I dislike it :(

Surely, we should try Spa. It's not too far away from Monza ;)

Same for me, but I do think it's a better option than Monza.

Spa would be awesome, but we'll run into even more corner cutting.

The only places you can really cut at Spa are Eau Rouge and the Bus Stop. Everything else just takes a little bit of extra discipline to keep 4 tires off the curbs, same as just about every other track in the game. No where near as bad as Monza.

In the other series that i've done spa has caused as much corner cutting as Monza :indiff:. well, corner cutting problems. Anyone for Motegi road :dopey:
